Town house in Brighton, Sussex, England - in the middle of Brighton's bustling city centre near all shops, local amenities and the beach

This beautiful house is right in the city centre, but once inside you can enjoy the tranquility and spacious feel of this end-of-terrace Victorian home. While still retaining its original charm, the house has many quirky features including a display of antique typewriters and first-aid cabinets, furniture made from reclaimed scaffold and some stunning artwork. The banisters have been replaced with glass throughout, giving the house a more roomy and modern feel. Decorated in mainly monotones, the stylish interior would appeal to anyone wanting to experience something very British but slightly different. This property is suitable for both families and sharers who want to experience life in Brighton without needing endless taxis. Everything you need is in walking distance including the main shopping mall Churchill Square, the Pier and the beach. We are certain you will be delighted with this wonderful home and look forward to welcoming you!

"We all had a great time and people couldn't speak highly enough of the house. The kitchen was brilliantly equipped (better than mine at home) and it was great to see you had everything from irons to tomato ketchup already in the house. Check in was great and you were very kind to be so flexible with check out as I know a lot of places are strict which can make you feel rushed." Guy, London.

"We had a fabulous weekend - the accommodation was perfectly located between the train station and the sea and Jo the owner was very kind and hospitable. My partner and I rented the house with a group of friends (including my friend's little boy) to celebrate my Birthday - the house would be suitable for both families and groups of friends. The property was stylishly furnished, with comfortable beds and all the modern conveniences you could want, including good bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen which we used for cooking, the dining area was very pleasant. Would definitely stay here again."

Comfortable and fun

A great , centrally located property with plenty of room for our family of three adults and three young children .

Everything we needed for our four day stay was within fairly easy walking distance : the beach, supermarkets, playground and shops , including our favourite North Laine area.

Jo and Nathan were very friendly and helpful, including posting back to us one of my granddaughter's favourite dolls that we inadvertently left behind .

The property was clean and comfortable throughout . There was a bit of intrusive noise from the nearby bar at night , but actually the place was pretty quiet and felt very private.

I would certainly recommend the place to anyone wanting to stay in Brighton. I think the property is particularly well suited to a small group of friends as the space lends itself to being sociable !

As with anywhere in Brighton, car parking needs planning ahead of time but we didn't find it too difficult to organise .

Do not miss this apartment

What a lovely apartment ! We were greeted by Jo's warm smile. Apartment is very artistically done up . We were 4 of us so we had ample of extra beds.

Each room has a different character. Within a minute of stepping out of the apartment we were in the market place. Its close to the sea, its a pity that due to cold weather we could not enjoy the sea but i went running till Hove colourful huts.

Kitchen is well equipped. I would definitely stay there again .

Excellent Property- Quirky and Fun in a good location

A group of friends meeting up for a weekend, had an excellent time at this house, had everything we needed included cooking utensils and bathroom facilities. Staff were really helpful at arrival and would go back to this property without a doubt. Excellent location too!

Great house, great location

The quirky decoration and thoughtful touches make this house a real treat to stay in - highly recommended! The only thing that spoilt it slightly was the long list of dos and don'ts (mainly don'ts) that I received before the stay, which stopped us relaxing as much as we might - we were all terrified of breaking one of the rules. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Fantastic stay in an excellent location

Beautiful property in an excellent location. Very clean and well-maintained with both the owner and property manager very helpful. Excellent facilities and lots of space - also a good touch keeping on previous guests food/drink (where appropriate!) for next guests to use rather than throwing out. You are 10 minutes walk from the station and right in the centre of town close to everything - would thoroughly recommend.
