Property type house
Minimum Stay 1 - 5 nights

About the property

Town house in Brighton, Sussex, England - in the middle of Brighton's bustling city centre near all shops, local amenities and the beach

This beautiful house is right in the city centre, but once inside you can enjoy the tranquility and spacious feel of this end-of-terrace Victorian home. While still retaining its original charm, the house has many quirky features including a display of antique typewriters and first-aid cabinets, furniture made from reclaimed scaffold and some stunning artwork. The banisters have been replaced with glass throughout, giving the house a more roomy and modern feel. Decorated in mainly monotones, the stylish interior would appeal to anyone wanting to experience something very British but slightly different. This property is suitable for both families and sharers who want to experience life in Brighton without needing endless taxis. Everything you need is in walking distance including the main shopping mall Churchill Square, the Pier and the beach. We are certain you will be delighted with this wonderful home and look forward to welcoming you!

Guestbook comments from the manager

"We all had a great time and people couldn't speak highly enough of the house. The kitchen was brilliantly equipped (better than mine at home) and it was great to see you had everything from irons to tomato ketchup already in the house. Check in was great and you were very kind to be so flexible with check out as I know a lot of places are strict which can make you feel rushed." Guy, London.

"We had a fabulous weekend - the accommodation was perfectly located between the train station and the sea and Jo the owner was very kind and hospitable. My partner and I rented the house with a group of friends (including my friend's little boy) to celebrate my Birthday - the house would be suitable for both families and groups of friends. The property was stylishly furnished, with comfortable beds and all the modern conveniences you could want, including good bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen which we used for cooking, the dining area was very pleasant. Would definitely stay here again."

This house had everything you could want. Beautifully decorated and in a great location. Close to restaurants and shops. The beds were very comfortable and owner accommodating. I would stay here again a and recommend it highly.

Lovely Property & Great Location

  • 5 of 5

A really lovely property with real character in a great location to explore everything that Brighton has to offer.

From the outset Jo was very helpful & responsive and likewise Nathan was on the day of arrival

We will certainly look to book this house or other properties on Jo's portfolio next time we return to Brighton, thanks again :)

Great House

  • 5 of 5

We had a great stay at the house. We felt relaxed and welcomed. We were a bit worried about all of the rules, but we soon realised that as long as we were sensible all would be good. We had an extravagant meal in one night and there were loads of plates, serving dishes and cooking regalier. Jo was great, answering any question we had quickly and honestly. Great Location in town, nice size rooms, comfy beds, great showers, good selections of DVD's and CD's. Thanks

Great location, short walk to beach, shops and restaurants.

  • 4 of 5

Quirky unusual furniture, lots to keep a group of seven females talking about the house. Very comfortable, relaxing weekend. Owner replied immediately to slight concern about leaking shower, prompt service.

Highly recommend.

Great Funky Accommodation

  • 4 of 5

Had a great time and the accommodation was lovely.

Would say that 12 persons makes it a tight squeeze in the bedrooms and around the dining table.

Would suggest max comfortable capacity would be no more then 9/10

In saying that house is fun and creative and the team were so very helpful with the location being really suitable.
