Tired out worn out
Cottage lovely views but very run down and definitely needs some t.l.c arrived with 3 rubbish bags outside front door, took several weeks for them to arrive as we were there for 5 weeks after talking to the owners were told we could get them from swimming pool 3miles away as they had to be special bags for holiday cottages ,oven didn’t work ,no ceiling light in main bedroom stairs were dangerous and needed carpet on them ,thought they might have left us a second set of sheets seeing we were there for 5 weeks we realise there was a washing machine and dryer but meant we had to make sure it was all done on same day come on we were on holiday ,couldn’t use back garden as steps and garden full of leaves and moss all over steps ,gardener came on the last week of our stay and swept all leaves and steps such a shame as it was lovely weather and would have been nice to sit out of a evening ,lounge very old and worn .Need a small car and competent driver not recommended for elderly as walk to steep. Overall needs lots and lots of attention

Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting.
Chimney cottage was a lovely quaint cottage in a little village in the Peak District. Me and my family had a wonderful time just relaxing and enjoying time away in nature. It has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The beds were comfy and clean. It was so nice to be able to control the temperature in the home as this is not always the case. The only small change I would make is a slightly bigger tv to relax with at night.
