2 bedroom rural detached converted barn set in the small hamlet of Thorncliffe. On the edge of the peak district. Fitted kitchen with fridge, freezer and washing machine, kitchen table and 4 stools, . living room with dining table. Bathroom with shower. Travel cot available .
Off road parking. Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, Haddon hall, The Roaches, Buxton, Bakewell and Manifold Valley all within easy reach. Owners also live in Thorncliffe within a few minutes from the barn.

Adorable and comfortable

Loved this cottage! So comfortable and cosy. Location was amazing! Close to Alton towers, views lovely and the sound of cows was the cherry on top.

Cute cottage beautifully presented

We were delighted with the cottage which was well-equipped and spotlessly clean. It has been beautifully converted from a small barn and the photos don’t do it justice. Others had commented on the size, yes it’s small but we found it to be comfortable and suited 3 adults and a 3 year old. The second bedroom is a bunk bed-our daughter was happy to sleep in one of these with her son in thd other.and we used the cottage for 2 nights to recuperate from jet lag after 24+ hr flights from Australia. We would definitely stay here again.

Charming cottage in beautiful location

The cottage is perfect, we stayed a week but wished it was longer. The location enabled us to explore several villages and small country towns in the region, and we got a bit of walking in too. There was no highlight because it was all brilliant.

Home from home weekend- Near Leek

Amazing location, spotlessly clean and well equipped barn conversion. Walking distance to a super pub for tea after an amazing day walking The Roaches and Luds. Love love loved it! Thank you!
