Vipers Quay enjoys a unique location about 3 miles upstream from the historic town of Dartmouth on a beautiful and unspoilt section of the River Dart close to the attractive village of Dittisham. Laid out over one floor the house provides comfortable accommodation for 8 adults and 4 children or teenagers. The property has its own private quay, extensive river frontage, garden with barbecue, and 2 acres of woodland and grounds.

A Quiet Place to Watch the Boats Go By

It is a large house with plenty of indoor and outdoor space - the ten of us didn't get under one another's feet. The views are amazing and there is plenty of land to explore. The beds were comfortable and there are plenty of bathrooms. There is a large dining table and a well equipped kitchen. It is very remote being down some narrow lanes and a long drive. Highly recommended.

Magical location

Our second visit to Vipers Quay and it was as wonderful as ever. The location is amazing, the house so comfortable and inviting - I can't recommend it highly enough. The weather was terrible but it didn't spoil our stay, we went kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, crabbing, had a superb meal in Dartmouth and even did a spot of shopping. Perfect!

Fantastic Location

This is a unique property, in a fantastic location. Spacious and well equipped, it coped easily with 3 units of extended family ; 6 adults and 5 children ( aged 7 to 16) - the children loved the garden, crabbing from the jetty and star gazing from the roof terrace !

A wonderful weekend away and we would certainly hope to re-visit

Amazing place with fabulous views and facilities

The property and surroundings are beautiful and very well maintained. Even though we were there in Feb/March, we made us of the BBQ and sun terrace. In walking distance of two pubs that do food and the Sportsman carvery is a short drive. We used the place as a recording studio and it worked out very well. But it was great to just sit and watch the river and the wildlife. Even a hailstone storm was more spectacular than annoying.

Fabulous!

What a find! Vipers Quay is set in an amazing location, I walked in to the sitting room and was blown away by the view and knew instantly that we would be returning to this property again and again. We took my elderly parents and our two grown up children and we all had a marvellous time. There is something for everyone. The property is fully equipped with everything you could want for a truly comfortable stay. I cannot recommend Vipers Quay highly enough.

Booking Notes:
Short breaks of 3 days (weekend - Friday to Sunday) or 4 days (midweek - Monday to Thursday) can be booked except during high season, bank holidays and school half terms. Short break booking for these periods is not available until 4 weeks prior to the relevant date. Flexible arrangements can be made for Christmas and New Year.

Bookings are accepted and confirmed on receipt of a 50% non-returnable deposit. The balance is payable 6 weeks prior to arrival.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Friday, with checking in from 3 pm, departures by 10 am.

Notes on prices:
Pets £25 per week.
Breakages and damage are the responsibility of the guest and a deposit of £200 is required with payment of the final balance of the rent. This will be refunded within 3 working days after your departure unless required. Your own holiday insurance is strongly recommended.
NB. Nightly rates for short breaks are higher than the nightly rate for a week.
