Stunning sandy and pebbled beaches, a wide variety of flora and founa and over 1000 acres of heather and marshlands. Excellent pubs and restaurants, along with craft shops complete this unique and gorgeous holiday destination. Across the water from walberswick lies southwold, with its harbourside huts selling fresh fish summer theatre and the famous adnams brewery. Rspb minsemere, dunwich heath, aldeburgh and the pretty harbourside town of woodbridge are all within an easy drive.

I have been in the hospitality industry for 30 years with running B & B and public house/ hotel, also restaurant and diner. I have been married for 46 years and have 2 grown up daughters and 5 grandchildren. I have lived in Walberswick for 10 years and enjoy the country life.

Why Tina Bell chose Suffolk

We moved from Essex to Suffolk for business reasons and firstly lived in Blythburgh for 20 yrs, then moved to Walberswick 10 yrs ago to take over The Anchor Inn which we ran for 3 years before coming out for my husbands health. We decided to stay in Walberswick because we loved the area .

What makes this house unique

My house has been renovated to a very high standard and is equipped with every modern convenience and comforts of home. In addition we have a heated swimming pool and games room containing pool table, dart board, table football, hockey etc. Beside the very large garden you have the convenience of the common and various walks & the beach close by.

Notes on accommodation: This accommodation is strictly non smoking. We now accept well behaved Dogs at a cost of £25.00 per Dog per week. This property is also unsuitable for the infirm. Outside: 20 x 12ft heated outdoor swimming pool, garden furniture, hot tub for 6 people. Gas BBQ available and hard patio area for al-fresco dining. Please noet the Swimming pool is NOT available between 1st October -31st May. But the Hot Tub is available all year. At no extra cost. Utility Room: Upstairs utility room, washing machine, tumble dryer, boiler cupboard airer. Sink, iron, ironing board and cleaning equiptment. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All duvets, pillows and linen provided. Hand and bath towels also provided and beds made up ready for arrival of guests. Complementary welcome pack provided to ease you into a smashing break! Other: Games room with pool table, darts and table football. Kitchen has breakfast area but also ground floor spacious dining room with seating for 10 and patio doors to garden - high chair and travel cot available on request

great weekend with friends

the house is amazing all bedrooms on suite and the house is well equipped, the pool and hot tub were great and the sun shone so that was added bonus, games room with darts table football and pool table.

would recommend staying here - 15 min walk to the pub

Fantasic Weekend

Fabulous family weekend

What an amazing property. Spacious modern and spotless. Linen and towels, even towels for the hot tub were provided. The kitchen was well equipped. The games room and hot tub were well used by all of us. The owners live next door so if we had any problems they could be easily solved.(John was very helpful) The weather was wonderful which meant we could get out and explore the surrounding area of southwold. Can recommend Mills butchers in Southwold for meat for the barbecue. The Anchor sells good food and ale. All in all a fabulous family weekend was had by all of us. I would definitely recommend this property.

Lovely place to get away with family and friends

Lovely, comfortable and well presented house. Everything has been thought of. The house is a 10 minute walk to the 2 pubs in the village and harbour. There was 10 of us and we had plenty of space. The owner was friendly and helpful. We hope to stay again.

Contact owner preferably by e-mail for booking or enquiries. 25% non-refundable desposit required on booking to secure your reservation, with full payment due 2 months before arrival. £250 refundable security and damage deposit is required at the time of final payment on the property. Please note: Your Security Deposit will be banked and when house is returned in good order our personal cheque for the full amount will be issued within 14 days. 3 day breaks are charged at 75% of the weekly price

Changeover Day:
Saturday changeover. Arrivals from 4pm departures at 10am. For two week plus bookings maid service for cleaning once a week.

Notes on prices:
There may be flexibilty on prices outside of the main holiday seasons, please e-mail your enquiry. Short breaks will be considered subject to availability. 3 night mini breaks will not be accepted during peak seasons i.e. Easter, Xmas and school holidays.
Cancellation policy: Once a booking is accepted the deposit is non-refundable and cancellations only accepted with three months notice.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
