Kalkan Mountain Villas is a prestigious community comprising 4 quite exquisite holiday villas, offering guests a truly unforgettable holiday experience. At over 3000 square feet, the properties are not only very generously proportioned, but the way the cool and contemporary design connects with the views is nothing short of spectacular. The villas have been constructed to an exceptionally high standard and furnished with immense style and flair, both inside the property and on the extensive terraces, to make the most of relaxing, dining alfresco, entertaining new found friends or just having a G&T with the local zesty lemons as the sun dips behind the mountains. As you would expect the level of amenities at a property of this quality ensure guests can relax and rejuvenate, but also wireless Internet will enable you to keep in touch, and the on-site staff will ensure that should you need them, they are near at hand, available but unobtrusive.
The villas are set in the hills above Kalkan in the village of Islamlar where the streets are lined with grape vines, fig trees and pendulous pomegranates. On the winding hills to the villas there is a billy goat & tinkling bell on every corner. once you arrive at the villas the style is pure Hollywood Hills with a wall of windows to maximise the view, and marble floors, staircases and bathrooms.
From the side of the pool you can see almost the entire stretch of Patara beach framed with mountains to each side and the plains below which at night display 1000's of twinkling silent lights .
Accommodation is arranged over 3 floors, with large open plan living space on the middle floor to make the most of the incredible views.
Floor to ceiling windows offer views of the mountains, sea and Patara beach.
One of the living areas has sumptuous furnishings, a wide screen LCD television with Satellite channels and DVD. Wireless internet and Ipod docking station. The other area is intended to focus on the dramatic views. There are both indoor & alfresco dining spaces.
The sleek kitchen is equipped with the latest built in Siemens appliances. There is also a granite topped island with bar stools.
In addition there is a cloakroom and separate utility room.
The stylish marble staircase leads to the upper & lower levels.
All 4 bedrooms have King size or twin beds (two of the bedrooms have a separate dressing room) Each has its own en-suite marble bathroom with a variety of fittings to include a Jacuzzi bath or wet room style shower area. All bedrooms have a private balcony.
I have been travelling to Turkey now for almost 20 years. At that time I fell in love with the Country, the People, and the Turkish culture. Nothing has changed in the past 20 years to change my mind. I love it just as much as I did during my 1st visit all those years ago. You too will love what Turkey has to offer Kalkan Mountain Villas is my piece of Luxury in the hills above Kalkan.
Close to the villas there are traditional trout restaurants where the food is organic and always fresh but if you fancy something a bit more sophisticated then the harbour side and roof top restaurants of Kalkan are a short drive away.
Do get in touch if you have any questions, I am only too happy to help!
Isabel Lloyd purchased this villa in 2010

I'm one of those people who never writes reviews unless something is exceptional.
This certainly is the case at villa Lavender, it lived up to its description and certainly did not disappoint in any shape or form. The location is amazing, a peaceful and spectacular setting but near enough to dip in and out of kalkan when it took our fancy.
The villa had everything and more than we could hope for, it is uber modern and spacious, it's seems to blend seamlessly into a magnificent view. Little touches such as champagne glasses and an ice bucket just made it unlike your average villa.
The furnishings throughout are stylish and very tasteful and the outside areas are private and large enough for our family of eight.
We hired a car for our stay, this was necessary but it meant we were able to explore all the small villages near by and sample the many great restaurants,
Kalkan itself is very quaint, lively but not loud! restaurants and small boutiques in abundance, we certainly never struggled to fill our time, we only wish we could have stayed longer.
We will be back again next year and have already booked Villa Lavender.
A wonderful villa which even the photos don't do justice too! Fanastic views over the Turkish scenery and amazing sunsets to sit and watch with a drink in hand. This kids all loved the space, but more importantly the pool - just the right size for four kids to play in without quarrelling. Everything is catered for if you want to cook, and the BBQ outside with seating by the pool is ideal for evening meals. We tried a number of restaurants both up the mountain and down in Kalkan and all extremely good value and excellent food. Few things I would point out you do need a car to get around as you are about 20 mins drive to Kalkan harbour and take some Citronella to keep the bugs at bay while you eat outside. It was magical - highly recommend it.
I travelled with family to Villa Lavender on Kalkan mountain. We were all blown away when we arrived at night, the villa was so beautiful and had everything we needed and more! The view out the balcony when we arrived was incredible and even more stunning to wake up to in the morning. The location is perfect and all the locals were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed turkish pizza a short work down from the villa and tried a few local restaurants that were great too. I couldn't recommend anywhere more and will certainly be wanting to go back!
We stayed in Villa Lavender for a week in July and had a fantastic time. The property is 5 star and the views are breathtaking. A very luxurious place to relax!! The villa is very spacious and modern, and the pool area and outside furniture are fabulous. It was hard to want to venture out!
We were travelling with children and the villa had everything we needed and more. Only a short drive to the town centre and famous Patara beach. Thoroughly recommend!
Villa Lavander is a truly stunning property with all of the amenities one would expect in a property of such high calibre. The views from all of the huge windows are truly amazing during the day and spectacular at night. We stayed for one week and were sad to leave the idyllic spot. The weather was scorchio! And the pool lovely and refreshing. The villa is managed by Ahmet who makes your stay so easy...very welcoming and always available to help with any query or restaurant recommendation. Loads of places to visit. Can't wait to return
We stayed at Villa Lavender in June this year and I can honestly say we were blown away by everything! The views are simply spectacular! The furnishings and décor are spot on, and the infinity pool is wonderful!
We found all of the local restaurants to have amazing local foods, whilst the harbour restaurants had something for everyone...and very good cocktails! All waiters etc were very friendly and loved the children, even helping to look after our baby while we ate!
Ahmet, the site manager was brilliant. Always around to help with anything from booking tables at restaurants, getting us fresh bread etc and arranging our airport runs.
The owners of the villa were also very helpful and accommodating and gave us loads of tips of where to go and see etc!
We can't recommend Villa lavender enough! We loved every moment...just a shame we were only there for a week, next time it will be for two!
We were fortunate enough to stay at Villa Lavender at Kalkan Mountain Villas in October 2013. The weather was beautiful and still shorts & T shirt temperature even at the end of the season.
The villa is exceedingly spacious and beautifully and tastefully furnished with absolutely everything we needed. The views of the mountains and Patara Beach are simply breath-taking.
The infinity pool is wonderfully inviting and the loungers and poolside eating areas give a choice of relaxing or eating in the sun or the shade.
The caretaker Ahmed is wonderfully attentive and happily booked our restaurants, taxis and even our day trip on a traditional boat trip around the beautifully rugged local coastline.
The mountain restaurants are rustic and quaint with fantastic local homemade food and the harbourside restaurants serve great food at very reasonable prices. If you are looking for a totally relaxing holiday in a superb location then you can’t go wrong with Villa Lavender. AAAAA******
