The original building dates from the mid 19th century and has the thick walls and Breton slate roof typical of the construction of the time. It was occupied by local families into the late 1960's. The Cottage was brought back into use in 2000. In 2011 it was completely refurbished.
It is in a small hamlet of 5 other houses that are a mixture of French and English residents. The road into the Hamlet is a Cul de Sac and there is no through traffic. The cottage is detached with no neighbour on one side and the only other house on the Cottage side of the lane 25 meters away.
There is a good size parking area to the front.
Following the purchase of the land beside the Cottage in 2018 this is under development as a Garden amenity for the Cottage.

A large living area / dining, a good sized bedroom on the upper floor, a manageable kitchen and Sower / WC room complete the accommodation.
