The very bright apartment is located in the heart of the city of Florence, in the LTZ, a few steps from the Cathedral and the main museums (Accademia, Uffizi, San Marco Museum, Archaeological Museum). The furniture is taken care of and comfortable. The apartment has a quite spacious outdoor area with table and chairs under a lovely pergola. The house is equipped with every comfort: Independent heating and air conditioning; its location allows you to easily get around the city and in a short time and also the periphery (Piazzale Michelangelo, Fiesole); In fact the main bus routes have a stop right near the apartment.

Lovely home in a great location
We were very comfortable in this home! Beds were very comfortable, and it was the only one of the three places we stayed while we were in Italy where the pillows were not flat like a pancake, and the towels were not stiff!!! There was also plenty of closet space, and I noticed a high chair and porta crib, for anyone traveling with little ones ( which we were not).
thank you, I am really happy for the welcome appreciation because I am so committed to making my guests stay comfortable
Charming, great location but extremely noisy and no washer and dryer!
This property was clean inside and comfortable but we had to pass construction materials in entry and the construction noise was awful. Construction materials were all on the patio. Plus the noise from the bus stop right outside the bedroom window was terrible - not only from the buses but from people talking and partying outside all night long. Also, there is not a washer dryer in the unit. There is a very small washer that we could not figure out how to use and just a drying rack. The wi-fi was difficult to figure out - the instructions were terrible! We had to reset the router that was on top of a closet in the hallway.
I regret, unfortunately, the guest complains about the noises of the people who celebrated late at night the beautiful Christmas season: it is a very lively square in the historic center and certainly for the Christmas holidays there were many people who celebrated! for the work of materials in the building it is a situation and temporary due to renovations condominium! but during the Christmas holidays the workers did not work. The WI FI simply needed a reset, but then it worked properly! I'm really sorry that the guest has not found the pleasant stay in my apartment!
Excellent location. Pictures are accurate and the space has a large master bedroom. Close to major.sites and many local tours start at the front door. I would rent here again. Host does not speak English and I need to work on my Italian but we were able to communicate .
Comfortable and convenient home base for walking tours of Florence
This large, comfortable, 2-bedroom apartment on the Piazza San Marco gave us everything we could want for a week-long walking tour of Florence in early December. Most major museums, churches, and historical architectural landmarks are all within easy walking distance. Good restaurants are readily to hand, and a fully-equipped kitchen allowed us to make use of the convenient grocery stores in the neighborhood on those nights when we wanted to eat at home. All systems and utilities in the apartment are modern and functional, and Elisabetta's instructions were lucid and effective. This property has our highest recommendation: molto buono!
Absolutely delightful apartment - well furnished, fresh/clean and the perfect location!
I spent four weeks in this darling apartment - sometimes alone and other times sharing it with relatives and friends. It was extremely comfortable in both settings.
At 80, I am a very active individual enjoying the fabulous art, the history and architecture of this remarkable city and love to share it with others. This apartment was perfect for both situations.
The neighborhood was wonderful with great places to eat, snack, and three markets for shopping. The church across the Plaza is one of my favorites! All the major bus lines pass thru San Marco Plaza; it makes it extremely easy to reach any desired location quickly. The little hill town of Fiesole is a quick 20 minutes away and a must for a lunch with a glorious view of Florence!
The Central Market - completely surrounded by shopping carts filled with leather goods and other "take home" treasurers - is a mere three blocks away and their food court on the second level is an absolute must and includes terrific 2 & 3 hour cooking classes!
This was my 18th visit to Florence and I continue to love every minute I spend in this lovely city, Elisabetta was a wonderful owner easily reached via email. She was most accommodating with lovely fresh high quality linens every time a new group of my guests would arrive then leave for others to take their place. The small patio off the kitchen was an special treat!
I will definitely return to this apartment - it is by far one of my best choices in the five years I have been using VRBO/Home Away for my extended vacations in Europe! I highly recommend this apartment - and, if you love Ikea - you will be thrilled the minute you open the door - it is total and absolutely the best of Ikea!
We stayed in this flat for a little over a week and just loved it! The location is great! Restaurants, groceries, shopping and art all within easy walking distance. Highly recommended!
The apartment overlooks a lively square with bars, restaurants and pastry shops in the city center, a short walk from the Accademia Gallery, which houses Michelangelo's David, and the San Marco Museum, which exhibits the works of Fra Angelico; It is also in a strategic position to reach in a few minutes walk to all the major points of interest for tourists. With the main bus routes, which have a stop in the vicinity of the apartment, you can reach anywhere in the city and suburbs, (Fiesole or Piazzale Michelangelo). A few meters from the apartment is a great restaurant, Academy, where you can taste the best dishes of Italian cuisine.
