Fisher Dairy Cottage is part of a recently completed barn conversion on a working beef farm. The cottage retains many original features and is finished to a high standard with a specification for comfortable modern living. Features include: vaulted ceilings and exposed beams, under - heated oak floors throughout, wood burner with free logs, fully equipped kitchen with cottage - style table, leather sofas, Free Sat TV and WIFI. There is a courtyard parking area to the front and a private enclosed garden to the rear with seating and a BBQ.

Great family holiday accommodation

We had a wonderful stay at the barn the accommodation is like a home from home - with a toddler who loved to run around in all the space. The facilities are great with a dishwasher/washing machine and lots of utensils for cooking. You need a car to get around as the farm is based in a rural area - lovely for walks but it's such a great base for exploring the area we can't wait to go back again. West wittering beach is a short drive away and is a golden sandy beach for a cost of £4 to park all day.

Fantastic Holiday Home

Absolutely gorgeous converted barn, in a lovely countryside location, with great furnishings. Very clean and newly decorated.The fresh flowers and homemade flapjacks left as a welcome very thoughtful. The couple who own the barn could not have been more friendly or accommodating, fab time had by all.

Cosy as a winter break but no private outdoor space and cars are the view from the front and a barn and the farmer wandering about at the back.No egg cups although eggs are sold by the owners!Furniture too big and bulky for a small room for maximum 4 people.No radio !

Special interest holidays:

Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve and SSSI are within walking distance (1 mile) and due to our proximity to the coast there is a good variety of migratory birds and wildfowl to be seen at different times of the year.


The nearest beaches are Pagham which is around 3 miles away by bike / on foot or 5 miles by car and is shingle / sand - based and secondly West Wittering which is around 8 miles away by car and consists of sand and sand dunes. There are other beaches at Selsey, Bracklesham and East Wittering all within 8 miles.

There are several marina's and quays which constitute part of the Chichester harbour such as Chichester, Itchenor, Dell Quay, Bosham and Birdham.


We are approximately 30 miles from Southampton airport, 20 miles from the ferry terminal at Portsmouth and 4 miles from the train station in Chichester. Due to the secluded location the use of a car and / or bikes is recommended.

Arundel (Cathedral city and castle) 9 miles

Goodwood (Racecourse, Motor racing and Golf Courses) 8 miles

A booking of self-catering accommodation at Fisher Dairy is accepted subject to availability and upon receipt of the 30% deposit.
Payment can be made online via BACS or by Cheque. Well behaved dogs welcome (maximum 2) at £20 per dog per week
Balance of the rental fee must be paid 4 weeks (30 days) before arrival date. Non-payment of the balance by the due date shall be taken as a cancellation by the Client. The balance due date is clearly stated on your booking confirmation and therefore we do not issue reminders.

Changeover Day:
For weekly breaks, change over day is Friday. For short breaks, change - over days are Monday and Friday.
All bookings are from 3.00 p.m. on the day of arrival until 10am on the day of departure unless by prior agreement.

  • The bathroom features a heated stone floor and vaulted ceiling and is equipped with a large double ended shower bath, a basin, and heated mirror, a WC and a large heated towel rail (towels provided).

  • Description of sleeping capacity: Sleeps 4 (2 Bedrooms) Notes on bedrooms: Bedroom one has a pocket sprung super king bed which splits into two large singles, built in wardrobes, bedside tables, a chest of drawers, dressing table and stool. Bedroom two is has the same spec as bedroom one but has a king size / two single bed.

Notes on accommodation: We will accept up to two well - behaved dogs but they must be livestock friendly and are only to be allowed in the main living area of the cottage (not the bedrooms). Travel cot / children's equipment is available with prior notification The cottage is strictly no smoking Outside: To the front of the property there is a shingle court yard which provides off - road parking for guests and access out onto Fisher Lane which is a quite dead end (to cars) road and comprises part of the South Coast Cycle route. To the rear of the property there is a private garden which faces south and west and is enclosed by a fence and hedge. There is a paved area alongside the property which is glorious on a sunny evening and also a paved patio area with a BBQ and seating. The cottage is within a farm yard and so there is some farm yard noise from cattle, chickens and the guinea fowl which roam about freely. The surrounding area is quiet and unspoilt with lots of wildlife and a good network of footpaths / bridleways. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are provided for use within the cottage. For customers enjoying longer breaks, there is a weekly change of linen and towels. Other: There is an airing cupboard / laundry store with iron and ironing board, a vacuum cleaner and clothes dryer.
