Ask a questionAbout Anne MacDonald
We are a Scottish family with 12 yr old twins. We love the rural highlands and islands and spend lots of time here in the Summer. We also run a five star boutique hotel and deal with corporate hospitality and VIP guests. I feel I've brought the best of this experience to the coach house and it's a place for relaxation and calm away from the buzz of working life.
Anne MacDonald purchased this House in 2012
Why Anne MacDonald chose Muir of Ord
We bought the coach house as our perfect weekend retreat. The estate is particularly good for cycling and getting close to nature. We love the tranquility and paddling in the river with the family is about as hectic as it gets. There is very little traffic and we're lucky if the post van passes once a day.
What makes this House unique
We wanted to make the coach house a really comfortable property for our guests. Although the property is traditional we have designed the interior in a contemporary boutique style reflecting the nature and landscape nearby.
