I originally come from Sheffield. I worked and lived in London for 12 years but for the last few years of working in London I commuted from Cambridge. In. In 2010 we were lucky enough to buy a Grade II listed property. In 2012 we obtained planning consent to convert a barn into a one bed holiday cottage called the Old Vicarage Barn which we have restored. In 2013 we bought a two bed cottage in Bakewell which again we modernised and rent out.. In 2014 we bought a house in Uzes which is 3 bedrooms. I have really enjoyed doing the properties up to a standard that I want to live in. Please do not hesitate to email me.

Beautiful property in idyllic location - just what we were hoping for
The little barn is gorgeous with great facilities and a very high finish. We enjoyed the location very much and easily explored Bakewell, Matlock and many villages nearby. The pubs and shops in the village are convenient and ideal for all our needs, and the views from the gardens absolutely stunning

Just returned from a week at this fantastic barn conversion it has everything you could need for a comfortable stay and thanks Penny for the birthday cake. Also great pub in the village and great walks from the front door.

Clean, well thought out and equipped property with some very helpful touches. The fab main garden area offers such a breathtaking view. The owners couldn't possibly do more to make our stay more comfortable & we felt assured of their availability should we have needed them (they thought of everything so we had no need to trouble them and checked in with them when passing). This is our 4th stay here which speaks volumes - we can't find anywhere else we think can match up to this property or the surrounding area. I have already been recommending this holiday property to friends & family. The village offers great amenities including butcher/general store opposite plus 3 pubs serving food (so no need to travel for provisions or food if you don't want to) and the most beautiful walks along the river in the village. A well situated property to park the car up for your stay and then explore on foot.

A superb bolt hole
A superb barn conversion with a great garden view, with good pubs and walks right on your doorstep, a local bus is available to connect to Bakewell and outlying walking areas. We are booking again for September 2015.
Worth Visiting: Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Eyam.
Plenty of lovely walks in the surrounding area.
