Dar Zebbuga 'The Olive Tree' is a beautiful, spacious, light and airy farmhouse attached to our family holiday home. Recently converted to a very high standard, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. Featuring high ceilings with exposed wooden beams and archways. Insulated painted walls keep it cool in summer, warm in winter and free from stone brick dust. 3 double bedrooms each with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and balconies. Movie room with air conditioning, 55" LED flat screen TV, blu-ray / DVD player, cable TV and 5.1 in-wall surround sound. The living room opens out onto a south-west facing private patio, pool, outside shower and BBQ area. Set in an alleyway on the outskirts of Kercem. 5 minute drive from the capital Victoria. 10 minute drive from the picturesque beach front Xlendi bustling with bars and restaurants. Nowhere is far away on the island of Gozo. The house is perfect for families or couples alike - cot and high chair provided upon request.

Beautiful, spacious and well-equipped villa in a relaxing and quiet location but close to city

We spent 10 days with 3 adults and 2 teenagers and never felt we were stepping on each other's toes. The movie room was brilliant for the teenagers to escape from the sunshine. The pool was larger that I expected and entertained all of us and provided the opportunity to cool off on hot days.

We loved staying in and took advantage of the barbecue and also a very well-equipped kitchen. Also, we did occasionally walk into Victoria (takes about 20 minutes) to eat out for breakfast/dinner. We hired a car via

from the airport and we were able to go further afield to seaside restaurants etc.

Highlights of our stay were the Blue lagoon (thanks to Alex for recommending we get there at 4pm when everyone else is leaving and avoid weekends !), Arzella restaurant in Marsalforn ,the Citadella in Victoria at night and the Azure Window/internal sea (despite Window not being there any more, it's still an amazing place )

All in all a lovely villa and location

Fantastic stay in an ideal house

We have been very comfortable in this villa. It is exacto as seen in the photographs, cozy, spacious and charming. The pool is perfect for a dip everyday and we really enjoyed it. Tip: air aconidicioando indispensable.

Stylish, contemporary well appointed farmhouse.

A group of four spent a brilliant week in this wonderful house. Located near Victoria, all the sites of Gozo are a short drive away.

Great communication with the owner, we were shown around the property, and everything was explained in detail on our arrival.

Three spacious bedrooms, all with ensuite facilities. Comfortable inside seating area, although most of our visit was spent on the terrace surrounding the pool. With a well appointed kitchen, and the added bonus of a barbecue area, you have the choice on how to end your perfect day on Gozo. I cannot recommend this house and island enough!

Smashing holiday!

We had a great time on Gozo, what a lovely island! The house was perfect for all our needs. We had a few teething problems at first but these where sorted out straight away. I would definitely recommend this house to others.

Kercem is a very good central location for seeing all the island, nowhere is very far! There are many wonderful restaurants providing a large selection of international foods, great value for money too. We particularly liked 'It Tokk' in Victoria and Xlendi bay had a good choice of cafes and bars.

The weather was good for this time of year, sunny and warm in the day but very chilly at night. We would definitely return to the island and to Dar Zebbug, thank you for a smashing holiday.

Excellent accommodation on Gozo

My husband and I have recently enjoyed a wonderful 2 week holiday on Gozo staying in this beautiful house. This was our 7th holiday on Gozo and Dar Zebbuga is by far the best house/villa we have stayed in.

The interior is spacious, homely, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It is very well equipped with everything you would require during your holiday.

The pool area is wonderful with an excellent size (south facing) pool, patio area, BBQ and sun loungers.

If you are considering Gozo for your holiday destination and want 5☆ accommodation then look no further than this beautiful property.

Rowena and Alex are both very friendly and helpful.

We are already looking at dates to return next year.

The nearest beaches to the house are the picturesque beach village of Xlendi bustling with bars and restaurants and the Inland Sea featuring the Azure window. Both a 10 minute drive. The two sandy beaches Ramla and San Blas are a 15 minute drive.


There are no direct flights to Gozo. Air Malta, B.A, Ryan Air and Easy Jet fly to Luqa - Malta International airport. We would recommend hiring a car from the airport, we can advise car hire companies. Make the 40 minute drive, which is well signposted, to Cirkewwa ferry port where the ferries cross to Mgarr, Gozo. The ferry timetable can be viewed in Alternatively, we can arrange taxi transfers from the airport to the ferry port and advise car hire companies in Gozo.

Xlendi Bay 2 km / 10 mins

Inland Sea, Dwejra 2 km / 10 mins

Ramla beach 7 km / 15 mins

Mgarr Harbour (ferry port) 10 km / 20 mins

Changeover Day:
Preferred change-over on Saturdays and we will give preference to bookings as such.
We would ask guests to vacate the property by 10 am.
