Magical place in secret valley
First impressions; what a dream to stay in Paradise. Having it’s own stream and woodland to explore us city dwellers were spoilt. We enjoyed the gardens, the bbq area and of course the wonderful house. Our evenings were all the more cosy for the stylish and very easy to use wood burner along with enough sofas and recliners for everyone. The very well equipped kitchen was a pleasure to cook and eat in - even enough bbq tools to keep the boys happy.
Although quiet and secluded - wonderful birdsong to be heard every morning - the house is very well situated for exploring all of the Penrith Penisula and beyond. When tired of the coastal path find a seat in one of the many areas the garden has to offer and relax. It was great and we may well be back.
Just do it - yes book it!
P.S. Plenty of hot water at all times.
Great family holiday cottage
We had a great week staying at this wonderful holiday home. The house is secluded and allows you to relax in a beautiful environment. The location meant it was easy to explore the sights of West Cornwall - we visited the Minnack Theatre, Mousehole, Sennen Cove, St Ives and Lands End. We can't praise the holiday home enough. It had everything we needed and was amazing. The gardens were breathtaking. Fully recommended for a break to West Cornwall.
a beautiful home
This is a lovely home in a lovely, quiet, location near the sea. The kitchen was wonderfully well-equipped (great for someone who loves cooking and really settling into a place), and had plenty of space for others to be so we could all talk while we cooked, and play board games late into the evening with the kettle, gin and cocoa handy. We didn't use the living room (!) even though it was cosy and inviting because in the day we were out every day walking the coast, visiting ancient villages, NT gardens and enjoying the tiny cove. The whole place felt cared for and it was wonderful that it welcomed our blind, slightly daft, old cocker too - he was so relaxed with us there after his days out, including the coastal walks (yes really), which has not always been the case in other properties we've visited this year. We will be booking again next year.
Beautiful house in stunning surroundings!
The house had the perfect number of rooms for our extended family + two dogs. Lovely garden to play in and explore, with hidden sitting places and open in to woodlands on one side and abandoned mill on the other. We used it as a base to explore Lamorna cove, St Ives and Porthkidney beach.
Delightful house with everything you need with beautiful gardens and stream. Would love to stay agai
