‘Troutbeck 9’ is a contemporary lodge set on the shores of Lake Windermere, within the exclusive White Cross Bay Holiday Park. In the heart of the Lake District, White Cross Bay is set in idyllic surroundings, and it provides a great base to explore the Lake District. Close to all major attractions, shops, restaurants and bars, the popular towns of Ambleside and Bowness are only 1.5 miles away. The lodge provides all the amenities required for a family or friends to relax and enjoy their break. Guests can enjoy the use of the indoor heated pool, gym, sauna, jacuzzi for just £15 for the whole family for the whole of your stay, bar and restaurant all just a short walk from the lodge. The lodge comprises of a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, double bedroom, fully furnished lounge, fully fitted kitchen, inc dish washer, and bathroom. The lodge is centrally heated and double glazed, offering guests a warm and cosy lodge all year round. Private decking with BBQ facilities and outdoor furniture provided. This decision was taken to try and keep the lodge in the best possible condition possible for future guests. Smoking is not permitted inside the lodge. We prefer not to rent the lodge out to groups of young men/women - we don't want it being used for parties which may damage or spoil the interior. Please treat the lodge as if it was your own home. Outside: Lodge has private enclosed decking which provides children a safe area to play. BBQ and outdoor furniture provided. Indoor heated swimming pool, gym, sauna, tennis court, and playground only a short walk away. Utility Room: No extra room, all appliances within the kitchen area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All kitchen amenities, towels and linen are provided. Spare towels are also provided. Dirty towels and linen to be left for maid service. All towels and linen will be washed and ironed prior to new guests arriving

Cabin served us well for a 3 night break. Basic but adequate for short break. Clean & comfortable.

The cabin was compact but for a 3 night break was perfectly fine for 3 people. The fittings were modern and clean. The kitchen whilst small was convenient although could have done with a few extra bits like weighing scales. Tea and coffee provided. Nice decor and well maintained. Overall we enjoyed out stay.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments, The Lodge is well equipped with main bedroom en-suit, including large walk in shower, TV/CD player. Main bathroom is complete with over bath shower. Heated towel rails in both. Kitchen is well equipped with washer/dryer machine, fridge/freezer, gas hob/oven, dish washer, microwave, plus all crockery. Living room, has TV, Two leather sofas, oak dinning table, Patio doors, electric fire and the whole lodge is fully central heated. I have added weighing scales.

The cabin is 5 star, my wife and I had a wonderfully relaxing holiday.

A minor gripe but the paucity of Freeview TV channels available was disappointing. We experienced a very wet spell of weather which meant we spent more time indoors than we expected to and would have liked to watch either dramas or a film in the evening.
