‘Troutbeck 9’ is a contemporary lodge set on the shores of Lake Windermere, within the exclusive White Cross Bay Holiday Park. In the heart of the Lake District, White Cross Bay is set in idyllic surroundings, and it provides a great base to explore the Lake District. Close to all major attractions, shops, restaurants and bars, the popular towns of Ambleside and Bowness are only 1.5 miles away. The lodge provides all the amenities required for a family or friends to relax and enjoy their break. Guests can enjoy the use of the indoor heated pool, gym, sauna, jacuzzi for just £15 for the whole family for the whole of your stay, bar and restaurant all just a short walk from the lodge. The lodge comprises of a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, double bedroom, fully furnished lounge, fully fitted kitchen, inc dish washer, and bathroom. This decision was taken to try and keep the lodge in the best possible condition possible for future guests. Smoking is not permitted inside the lodge. We prefer not to rent the lodge out to groups of young men/women - we don't want it being used for parties which may damage or spoil the interior. Please treat the lodge as if it was your own home. Outside: Lodge has private enclosed decking which provides children a safe area to play. BBQ and outdoor furniture provided. Indoor heated swimming pool, gym, sauna, tennis court, and playground only a short walk away. Utility Room: No extra room, all appliances within the kitchen area. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All kitchen amenities, towels and linen are provided. Spare towels are also provided. Dirty towels and linen to be left for maid service. All towels and linen will be washed and ironed prior to new guests arriving

Spotless, truly amazing experience:)

We chosen this lodge for Christmas and we had the best Christmas ever:) Paul even put a Christmas tree for us! The lodge is extremely tidy and very well looked after. We really felt like at home. Spacious, cozy, modern. I can imagine how nice would be to stay during the summer, because it has such a lovely terrace.

We will definitely come back and recommend to everyone. 10/10!

Clean, tidy and had everything we needed.

Overall experience was very good. For us as a couple we couldn't ask for much more. The kitchen was fully kitted out which was perfect as you could choose between eating at the resort's resteraunt or cooking for yourself. The living area and bedroom was nice and comfortable. Its also very well situated as it's not too far from shops etc... we found we would make breakfast in the lodge whilst planning our day out to see all the sights and museums etc, and have dinner in the resort resertaunt...we were gutted to be going home....Well worth the 6 and a half hour drive!

Luxury Lodge on the edge of Lake Windermere

We have just returned home after spending a very relaxing six days in the Lodge.

It was just like home from home with all the equipment required for the holiday. En-suite bedroom, family bathroom, washer/dryer dishwasher, central heating and very clean and fresh.The Lodge was so comfortable and warm. On site there was a swimming pool, restaurant, shop etc. Also good for children with play areas. All in all it was great, we would go back and would highly recommend.

Great little lodge

Got to say we had a lovely time in Windermere such a beautiful place it was our first time in the lakes and the lodge was great was very snug and cosy had everything u needed only concern was there wasn't any instrusions on how to use certain things in the lodge but we soon resolved the issues and figured it out but would suggest to the owner to leave some sort of note on how to use certain things e.g. central heating and so forth and it was hard to find our way around the facility but we eventually figured out how to get out ha but didn't put us of we loved the lodge every thing about it was lovely thank you for letting us stay paul.

Owner's Response: Hi, thank you. There are the comprehensive manufactures central instructions "how to use the central heating" on the work surface in the cupboard with the boiler. But i will add some additional instructions to help make this clearer. Paul
