Beautiful spacious studio within barn conversion, spiral staircase and mezzanine floor. views of the sea and the Cheviot Hills.
Peaceful village location.
We have a large family and have three dogs. We all love being up at the cottage and taking the dogs for long walks on the beach. We like surfing and relaxing at the local pubs after a long day on the beach. We also like spending time with all the good friends we have made in the area. We love surfing.
Mr Escott purchased this barn in 2001
We love Embleton because of the beautiful beaches and surrounding countryside.
The property is a short walk from Embleton and Newton beach and there are local golf clubs nearby.
Our cottage is close to lots of amenities but we like the fact that we can shut the gate and just sit in the garden and chill out.
The biggest factor for us is that the accommodation has lots of space and is an easy house to live in with our kids and dogs. Its also nice to be able to use the AGA to cook on and to dry our boots on after a long day walking! The view of the sea is lovely and we love being close to the beach. The house is cosy and relaxing.
The Snug, Embleton is a lovely place to stay- off the beaten track yet handy for all amenities. Cosy and stylish, with everything you could wish for. A lovely touch was the bottle of wine and biscuits. The electric airer came in handy after a wet day's walking. With fabulous beaches nearby, an excellent village shop and good pubs , the stunning coastal path-definitely one to return to.
Just returned from a lovely week staying in "The Snug". We were with our friends who stayed in the a joining property "East Croft Farm". This was an ideal set up as we were together via a door into the garden of east croft farm but was also seperate cottages so we still had our own space. Both cottages were lovely. Very comfortable and cosy. Log burning fires in both and an Aga in East croft farm. The setting is lovely and the local pub "The Greys" best food weve had in a long time all home cooked. The beach is with in easy walking distance as is the golf course which im told by our men folk is a good course. The owner Ailsa is very friendly and effiecient and i would recommend this property to anyone.
