Half term break
We had a fantastic week here. I would highly recommend
We had a lovely break. We were able to leave the car at the cottage and use the buses. The bus stops were almost outside the cottage. Lovely garden with a resident pheasant and Nicky kindly gave us some fresh eggs from her hens.
Fantastic stay Chris and Nicky were warm and welcoming, during our visit and went out of their way to help us. We would stay here again. Great location to explore the Island.
Lovely, clean, great hosts and brilliant accommodation. Couldn’t fault our weekend stay and will be back. The use of the garden was an added bonus and our 8 and 10 year old loved it too.
Our 8 day visit to Barrow Cottage annexe
We had a very relaxing time at this lovely holiday accommodation with access to a massive garden. The owner was very friendly and accommodating especially with regard to extra heating when the weather turned very cold. Lots of wildlife and opportunity for walks adjacent to the garden. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here.
Perfect family holiday cottage
We had a really lovely three night stay. Perfect having everything on one floor with two little ones. Our three year old adored the huge garden with many games of hide and seek, as well as the use of garden games. Really easy to get everywhere from the cottage, and so many things to do just on our doorstep, which made it nice and easy to return to the cottage with tired children for a break, before heading out somewhere different after lunch. Our bed was also wonderfully comfortable, which can be a rarity in some holiday cottages!! We are already planning a longer holiday here next year.
The sandy beaches at Shanklin and Ventnor are just 10 minutes drive away.
There is a local shop that sells essential foods just a 2 minute walk away. The property is also on a main bus route, a mile from the village of Godshill with its pubs, restaurants and tea rooms.
