About Clive Anstey
Our family have been holidaying in Pembrokeshire for over 10 years and never tire of the beauty, variety and peace to be found here. It is truly an undiscovered gem where you can escape to the golden sandy beaches along quiet roads and yet all is within easy reach of the M4. As our children have grown they have graduated from exploring rock pools to enjoying the adrenalin rush of coasteering, surfing, riding and climbing. There really is something for everyone here.
Why Clive Anstey chose Little Haven
Summerhaven was designed and built on the site of a cedarwood chalet by local architects and building contractors and we completed our 'dream project' late in 2013. Summerhaven is now our 'home from home' and we are delighted to invite other families to come and discover the unspoilt and beautiful county of Pembrokeshire.
What makes this House unique
Little Haven is beautifully placed to explore Pembrokeshire. Nestled in the corner of St Brides's bay you have easy access to the whole county, including the matchless coastal path, whilst staying in the welcoming and well appointed village. Summerhaven offers a unique contemporary living space to relax in at the end of a busy day exploring.

Gorgeous house in a peaceful valley minutes from the beach. Impeccably clean and well stocked.
Communication after booking was excellent, just don't pack anything you can't carry up a few steps (totally worth it)
Great stay in Little Haven
A fantastic property in a nice secluded location yet very close to the beach and pubs. House was clean and warm with modern facilities and sofa's / beds were very comfortable. Don't worry about the 40-odd steps to the property, we're not the fittest but managed them fine!
Light, quiet, well-equipped and restful. Great social space & lovely woodland setting.
Even in mid-December with rainy & windy weather, this place was delightful. We enjoyed walks straight from the door, short drives to many beautiful places nearby. It’s an easy walk into Little Haven and not much further over the hill to Broad Haven. The house has everything we could’ve wanted. We enjoyed the exercise of going up and down the steps to the front door. Remember to bring your own towels.
Thank you so much for the review. We love Summerhaven and get lots of pleasure from others enjoying it.
Beautifully designed property in secluded, peaceful location
Lovely property within easy walking distance to the beach. Good base for touring Pembrokeshire. Quiet, rural setting, very peaceful. Clean and comfortable. Very spacious.
Lovely property, really well equipped and in an excellent location.
We really enjoyed staying here - it's a great house in a lovely position. It's a very short walk to the local pubs and beach. There are lots of lovely walks to enjoy as well.
Thank you for your kind words Sally. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay in this beautiful part of the world. We love Little Haven too. It's a special place.
Outstanding House and Location
Summer Haven is a beautiful, tranquil, place to stay. Nestled high out of sight, it's vista spans a canopy of trees in a small wooded valley. Birds alight on the feeders outside the windows and one may encounter Owls, Pheasants, and Wood Peckers.
The house is immaculate, light, modern, and spacious with picture windows the length of the main room. All furniture and fittings are high quality but equally there are many small personal touches. The main room has a lovely feel, especially as the sun streams in during the morning. It reminded me of the cloud house in the film Oblivion.
On the door step is a lovely 40 minute circular walk up a woodland path to the brow of a small hill where one has breathtaking views across the bay. One then follows a quiet road down to Little Haven Beach. Our dog loved it. It's a great dog place.
The Village of Little Haven is straight from 'Under Milk Wood'. Very small and cute. People say hello as they pass in the street but it's a holiday and retirement area so not a traditional working Welsh Village. Sadly you won't encounter Captain Cat or Organ Morgan these days but you will meet friendly, genuine, people who have been attracted there.
Basically it's the perfect place to stay and visit. You will enjoy!
Thank you for your kind words David and for taking the time to write this lovely review. We are very touched by your comments as you have summed up our feelings about Summerhaven too. It is a special place. So glad you enjoyed your holiday in beautiful Pembrokeshire. We hope to welcome you back in the future.
Little Haven beach is sandy and safe. At low tide the beach joins with neighbouring Broad Haven's Blue Flag beach by almost a mile of golden sand. Life guards are stationed on Broad Haven during the summer months. Rockpools have a huge variety of small sea creatures to discover and the beach is great for safe surf activities and swimming.
Haverfordwest: 5 miles
St David's: 15 miles
Whilst Little Haven is tucked away in St Bride's bay it is easy to reach the bustling shopping centres in Haverfordwest, Tenby and St David's where supermarkets, galleries, farmers markets and seasonal events may be found.
