Upper two levels of a Stunning 3 storey house situated in a quiet street in Collaroy overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Dee Why Beach and Dee Why Lagoon. With great walks to The Headlands, Long Reef Beach and Public Golf Course less than10 minutes walk.
Ideally situated between Collaroy and Dee Why Beaches where there are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants in both directions and only a 10 minute drive to either. Manly is less than a 20 minutes drive where you can hop on the ferry taking you over to the City in just half an hour, where you can enjoy magnificent views of the Opera House and the Harbor Bridge as you approach Circular Quay. With regular buses on Pittwater Road in various directions and all only 17 Kilometers from Sydney Harbor and the CBD. There are two major Shopping Centres within 15 minutes and Cinemas in Collaroy, Warriewood and Warringah Mall.
The house has been recently renovated to a very high standard with Travertine Flooring throughout living areas, maximizing the views, with the top floor comprising of Open Plan Living, Dining and Kitchen with large balcony over looking the Ocean as well as a balcony to the front over looking the front garden and driveway.
The garden level is available separately or together depending on the size of your party. It has an additional fully fitted Kitchen, Open Plan Living, Dining and 3 bedrooms, one with en-suite. A large laundry/bathroom leading onto the split-level garden and large fenced in-ground swimming pool.
If you are looking for a holiday for the family and extended family this is the ideal property, as it can easily accommodate most arrangements with 5 bedrooms in the upper two levels and an additional 3 in the lower level comprising in total 7 King Sized Beds, 1 Queen Sized Bed and additional single beds if required.
There are two Lounge Rooms, with Flat Screens, Cable TV’s, and DVD’s. Two Dining areas, 3 Ensuite Bathrooms, as well as an additional 2 Bathrooms and powder room. Large sliding windows in both lounge and dining areas add to the light breezy feeling of the stunning property. Two large balconies on the upper living area one at the front of the house and one at the rear where you will enjoy stunning tranquil sunsets and watch the ever-changing Ocean.
Shared in ground swimming pool with two level gardens adds another area for relaxing whilst soaking up the beautiful Sydney weather, playing badminton or games in the garden.
There is Wi-Fi throughout the house and when renting the upper two floors you will have off street parking for 4 cars as well as plenty of free street parking.
Two of the bedrooms also have balconies overlooking the garden swimming pool and ocean.
We are originally from the UK but have lived in Australia and Asia for the most part of 20 years. We are an active family who enjoy all types of sports, love to entertain and be entertained. We work hard and so found having a beach destination holiday home the perfect solution to balance. Collaroy is a stunning part of Sydney and we love having a home in the Northern Beaches.
Collaroy is situated in the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney. The closest beach is Long Reef where you will often see Kite Surfing. It is a very pleasant 30 minute walk along the shore to Dee Why Beach, where you will find lots of lovely Cafe's, Bars and of course a beautiful beach. Collaroy Beach is about 15 minutes walk from the house where there are also nice Cafes, Restaurants, Cinema, Chemist and Surf Shops. Within approximately 10 minutes drive from the house is a Shopping Centre.
Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport is the closest airport and is approximately 40 minutes drive. The cost of taxi's are expensive in Australia and it would be my recommendation to hire a car from the Airport for the duration of your stay.
Collaroy has several shops and a good surfing beach which is only about 15 minutes walk from the house & Long Reef Beach is about 10 minutes walk. A 15/20 minutes drive will take you to Manly where you can hop of a ferry into the City Centre. Or drive in the opposite direction along the coastal road to all the beautiful villages of Newport, Avalon, Whale Beach and Palm Beach where there are lots of nice eateries, boutiques and stunning beaches.
Within 10 minutes drive of the house there are supermarkets, golf driving range, golf courses, beaches, cinema and shopping centre.
