The Riding Stable was converted from the old stables where the farm plough horses used to be kept. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs (one twin and one which can be arranged as either a twin or a double to allow flexibility) with a family bathroom (with bath) between. The third bedroom is on the ground floor with adjacent wet room. The kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, food processor etc). The sitting area has bi-fold glass doors which open right back to provide access to the charming walled garden which is fully enclosed and private. Wooden garden furniture and BBQ during the summer months. A cot and high chair are available and the property is fitted with stair gates. Bedlinen and house towels (not beach towels) provided together with soap and shower gel. We equip the property with Ecover household products for your use. Free WiFi access, wall mounted flat screen TV/DVD. There is full central heating to keep you cosy. Dogs welcome.
Rookery Farm is a small group of barn conversions set around a central courtyard on the site of the old farmyard. There are 4 units - Long Barn (sleeps 14), Wash House (sleeps 6), Riding Stable (sleeps 6) and a short distance away Bolt Hole (sleeps 4). The barns have been converted to provide characterful and contemporary interiors aimed at easy living and comfort. Set just a couple of miles away from the stunning north Norfolk coast the property is ideally located for family holidays or those wishing to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.
Rookery Farm has been owned by the same family for several generations. It is a working arable farm and guests staying in the holiday cottages can enjoy the beautiful farmland via footpaths across the fields.
If you want to escape from it all and have some good old fashioned sea side fun you have found the perfect spot. Sandcastles, buckets and spades, fish and chips on the pier, wide blue skies and endless beaches - we have it all here in north Norfolk and we are happy to share
To secure a booking we require a deposit of one third of the total holiday price and this is payable at the time of booking. The balance is payable one month before arrival.
