Situated in the village of Weybourne surrounded by woodland and heathland, the area provides excellent opportunities for walking and birdwatching.

The bungalow is within a short walking distance to the village shop which provides all your essential groceries and serves delicious take away coffee and pastries. Weybourne is also served by tea rooms and the local pub 'The Ship Inn' serves excellent food. The pebble beach is a short stroll away and this links you onto the North Norfolk Coastal Path.

Also at Weybourne is the Muckleburgh Collection, the UK's largest collection of historic tanks, armoured cars and other military vehicles, housed at Weybourne Camp.

About Jane Smith

As a family of four with two teenage girls, a break at the bungalow gives us the perfect opportunity to unwind and spend some quality family time together without all the usual day to day distractions!

Although we have been going to Weybourne for a few years now, we never tire of the beauty of the Norfolk Coast. There are plenty of things there we still need to discover but it's also nice going to places we've been before.

We enjoy walking along the Coastal Path to Sheringham and always treat ourselves with a well deserved ice cream! The journey back is often on the Coast Hopper bus which stops in Weybourne so its an ideal way to travel.

Why Jane Smith chose North Norfolk & Coast

Going to the bungalow provides the perfect opportunity to unwind with our family. There are many things to do in the area so whether we want to go exploring or just stay in the bungalow with a good book it provides us with the perfect base.

What makes this bungalow unique

The local pub and village shop are a great asset to have on your doorstep and it is lovely to be able to walk down into the village for a meal. Another bonus with the bungalow is the fact that it sits on the 'Coasthopper' bus route which is great for exploring other villages. We use it quite often after a walk along the cliffs to Sheringham and then hop on the bus back! The park that the bungalow is in is lovely and tranquil and a great place to relax and unwind.

Comfortable little cottage in a nice location

  • 4 of 5

A lovely little cottage. It was perfect for our relaxing two night stay. Very comfortable, clean and well equipped. The welcome tea/coffee and biscuits was much appreciated and a nice touch. Where are the eggcups?

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review and I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay. There are egg cups and they are kept in the wall cupboards.....unless they have been put somewhere else since our last stay! I hope everything else was fine for you and that if you ever stay in the area again you will be in touch. Thank you. Jane.

High Quality Accommodation in a Peaceful Village..

  • 5 of 5

We absolutely loved our week long stay in STONES THROW BUNGALOW, Took my elderly, disabled father, Nephew and 6yr old cocker (nora-batty) On arriving we were surprised of the welcome package, tea, coffee, milk and biscuits etc such a lovely start to our holiday. everything was very clean and tidy and well equipped, couldn't fault it at all, Its the ideal location to stay, Lovely short walk to the beach and along the coastline, ideal for your pets, so much to see and do, Even though we had wind & rain every day it didn't stop us from sight seeing and on a night there were plenty of games provided by the owner.. Tesco supermarket is only a mile away and a local shop in the village. I will certainly be returning with my husband to this stunning property and would not hesitate in recommending it to family and friends.. Thankyou so much Jane :)

Lovely short break in Weybourne

  • 5 of 5

We (myself, my husband and our 11 month old son) spent two nights here and had a really lovely time. The property was very clean, well furnished and beautifully decorated. The owner gave us a full set of clear instructions before our stay and couldn't be more helpful. They have thought of everything to make for a great holiday - the welcome pack of milk, chocolate biscuits and tea and coffee, the fully equipped kitchen and in particular the provision of rock pooling nets, buckets and spades, board games and a play station. The property is small but perfectly formed and is only a short drive to some of North Norfolk's best beaches. We haven't stayed in Weybourne before so we particularly enjoyed exploring this quaint little village and thought the views from the Coast path from Weybourne beach along to the coast guard's cottages were simply breathtaking. Lovely!

A quiet retreat

  • 5 of 5

A really 'fit for purpose' place for us to rent as we had 'people to see and places to go' in the area that weekend. Immaculately presented and did not seem to mind that we needed a bit of help finding the T.V. switch! Will go again when we need this sort of 'break'. Also, walked on a bit of coast we had not tramped on before. Lovely all round.

A well earned break.

A very clean and well equipped base to tour North Norfolk from. Within walking distance of the beach. Some good Mackerel fishing, and some wonderful sunsets over the sea.

Weybourne beach is within walking distance. It is a shingle beach, not suitable for swimming but is good for fishing. Dogs are welcome here. Sheringham has a sandy beach and is approximately 3 miles walk along the cliff tops. In the car it takes about 7 minutes. Wells-next-the-Sea is approximately 25 minutes by car and here you will find a lovely stretch of Sandy beach. There is also an area here where dogs are allowed.

Nearest Airport - Norwich which is approximately 1 hour away by car. Use of a car is recommended but not essential as there is a fantastic bus service. The Coastal Hopper bus takes you along the Coast from Kings Lynn to Cromer! There is a stop in Weybourne, just 5 minutes walk away from the bungalow.

Within the village of Weybourne. 10 minutes drive by car to Sheringham and the Wonderful Rural Georgian North Norfolk Market Town of Holt.
