The Cart Shed is a beautiful brick and flint barn conversion. It really was the cart shed,at one time, and has one of the old cart wheels found there at the time of renovation up on the wall, as well as the original windows. It is wonderfully spacious, full of character, comfortable, and warm. It has a large open plan kitchen/dining/living area with vaulted ceilings, original beams and exposed brick and flint walls. There is a large pot-belly stove in the main living area [with a useful sheila maid drying rack over], and underfloor heating under the whole ground floor - making it really cosy for the cooler months. There is also a large bathroom downstairs, with roll top bath, shower over, heated towel rail, toilet, bidet, and sink. Upstairs there is a bedroom in the eaves with a king-size bed and a landing where you could put a cot or small bed for a child. Free Wifi included. The car port can be used as an outside living space like a verandah - which is especially nice in the morning when the sun comes streaming in. Beyond that there is a communal gravelled area shared by the other barns in the development. There is a small gate adjacent to the property that leads straight out onto Holt Road - and in one direction you are quickly into countryside with marked footpaths, and in the other it is a short stroll into the centre of the village and on down to the sea. The barn is perfect for a couple and one well- behaved dog is welcome.
What a find! Such a beautiful place, Moira. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back! Fantastic walks, easy access to everywhere, the car has not moved all weekend! A really relaxing break.
We have just returned from an all too short stay at this lovely cottage in Weybourne on the north Norfolk coast. The Cart Shed is beautifully equipped and wonderfully cosy with underfloor heating throughout and a log burning stove for those chilly winter evenings. Weybourne is a small village with a great pub serving good value meals and a friendly village store. The cottage is a short walk from the shingle beach with a cliff walk to Sheringham. Moira greeted us on our arrival and was on hand if we needed anything. Highly recommended and would definitely return.
Moria, Thanks for a wonderful four nights in a great cottage, log fire was a delight to warm the place with such cold evenings, amazing location for dog walking, very clean and well maintained with real cosy feel to the place, will recommend to friends and family. See you soon.
First impressions very clean, very well kept. The accommodation was exactly as stated with a beautiful stove and decor that provided a warmth about the place, making it very cosy and relaxing. Perfect for a romantic getaway!!
Great location to all that Norfolk has to offer. Lovely walks and beaches and always a nice pub offering lovely food nearby. The local was a mere minute or two away offering delicious food and drink.
Thank you Moira, We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves - will definitely be back and recommending you to all friends and family.

We have written in the guest book too, but from the beginning our stay was a lovely one. Great welcome, plenty of information provided by Moira and this allowed us to settle in almost immediately. The only reason we have given 4 stars is because it was cold during the night, and I had to put the log fire on at 2am each morning so we slept comfortably, Great location, kept really well and fantastic customer service from the owner (Moira). Would definitely recommend!!!
Great accommodation in a superb spot on the beautiful north Norfolk coast. Beautiful beach walks within 10 minutes and great access to beautiful Holkham, Sheringham, Wells on Sea,Cley and Blakeney. A wonderful week. Thank you Moira

The Cart Shed is in a prime location in a development of barns close to the centre of the village of Weybourne. The local shop (which also sells coffees, cakes and croissants), and the local pub -The Ship - for good food or a drink, are just a couple of hundred yards away. And the sea is just a few minutes walk away down Beach lane beyond the village shop. Weybourne is an ideal base for exploring the many attractions that North Norfolk has to offer, The Georgian town of Holt is just 3 miles away, with its numerous boutiques, antique shops, cafes and restaurants. The popular coastal town of Sheringham is just 3 miles in the other direction, and if you don't want to drive, it is a pleasant walk there from Weybourne along the cliffs. Cley-Next-Sea is nearby with its pottery, deli, windmill, arts and crafts galleries and the Cley Marshes Nature reserve - a world renowned bird-watching site. In Blakeney you can go out on a boat to see the seals on Blakeney point. Then there is Wells-next-Sea - a beautiful and historic harbour and seaside resort with its fabulous beach. Within walking distance of there is the beautiful Sheringham Park, and Kelling Heath for miles and miles of walks. There is a leisure centre with pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gym just a couple of minutes drive away, in Kelling Heath Holiday Park, set in 250 acres of woodland and rare open heath. There are numerous country parks, stately homes and gardens within easy reach for day's out, including Holkham with its beautiful beach, and Blickling Hall. Then there's the Poppy Line - a preserved steam railway that runs between Holt and Sheringham and stops in Weybourne. And there's the coast hopper bus - a hop on, hop off bus service that goes round the North Norfolk coast if you dont want to take the car [and I believe you can take your dog too!) That's the great thing about Norfolk - there's lots of things to do, places to visit, excellent eateries and pubs - all without having to go too far once you get there!
