Guestbook comments from the owner

Thank you for allowing us to stay at Treetop Lodge. We have felt very at home here, with everything we need for a lovely break.

The park is in a beautiful location, and everyone very friendly, especially the staff at the Haybarn Inn.

The weather has been mixed, but hasn't hampered our stay and we would love to make a return visit.

Many, many thanks again.

Just a short break ( 3 nights), Beautiful site, a little bit hilly to be pushing a wheelchair about but not grumbling it goes with the area. Arrived on the Monday around 12.15 pm (we knew we couldn't get keys until 2.00pm) so thought we would grab a meal at the Haybarn the onsight pub, only to be told it didn't open till 2.00pm as well, so had to drive to a nearby pub to eat. 1st day cloudy, 2nd day rained all day long🙁3rd day cloudy start but the sun came out around 10 .30 ish & was fine the rest of the day. All in all would recommend this site and despite the rain managed to get around the Lakes and nearby villages. Enjoyed and will return.

Had a lovely relaxing time with my family

  • 5 of 5

We had the most relaxing time at Treetop Lodge. My mum, dad, husband and Labrador were with me. There is a tv, loads of DVDs and games to keep you entertained. The lodge was lovely and warm, clean and very homely. Everything you need is to hand. There is a dog area on site to let the pooch run off some energy before the day ahead. The pub was lovely. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The only downside was that it is at the top of a hill and my dad couldn't manage the walk there and back. I did consider taking him in the car but I couldn't see where I could park. However, I will ask next time. We enjoyed it so much we are returning in December for my birthday. Great communication from the owners, nothing is too much trouble for them. Can't wait to go back.

Superb accommodation in the Lake District

  • 5 of 5

We only had a weekend here but would have loved to have stayed longer. The lodge is superb. Very comfortable and wonderfully equipped. We have stayed at lots of lots of self catering cottages and houses and this is certainly up there with the best. We had our dogs with us, so the dog field on the edge of the park was wonderful. Fully fenced and much larger than I expected. Even better are the walks up the fells behind the inn. Miles of winding paths. Ambleside and Windermere are a quick car journey away, but if you are looking for crowd free walks you are also in the right place. The only, very slight, down side is the close proximity of the other lodges, but that is probably because we have anti social dogs. "Normal" people and dogs would be fine and everyone on site was friendly. PS the beds and sofas were very comfortable, a huge plus from me as I have a dodgy back. Thank you for a super stay.

Amazing site and great accomodation

  • 5 of 5

Found this property on here after searching many other sites and managed to get a last minute booking.

Stayed this week with our two dogs and very very good price for three nights. There is a dog field on site so you can take them for their morning and evening exercise.

Just outside of Windermere on the Limefitt site so not to far away to use as a base for day trips out. The Lodge is really well equipped and clean.

Great comms from Jerilee and it was so easy to book, not like some that i previously contacted.

It was just like a home from home - thank you for letting us stay - i would recommend to anyone.
