This extremely spacious property is in the countryside yet not remote - with a pub close by and shops within a 10/15 minute drive. This area of Pembrokeshire is renowned for its superb coastal paths for walkers. There are many beaches to choose from with surfing, wind carting and other activities such as horse-riding, fishing and golf. There are boat trips to the islands to see the puffins and other seabirds. There is no shortage of places to visit - St Davids with its famous cathedral, delightful fishing villages such as Solva and Littlehampton with a wide choice of pubs and restaurants and Narbeth with its bohemian shops as well as the county town of Haverfordwest with its wide range of shops and supermarkets.

The property is ideally suited to a large party and is popular all year around, especially Christmas, New Year and Easter as well as the summer months. In addition to the main house if required there is a 2 double bedroom barn conversion and coming soon a studio sleeping 2 plus sofabed. The farmhouse has a huge huge sitting room which oozes character with exposed beams, natural stone walls and two sitting areas each with an antique woodburning stove as their focal point. The kitchen has cream painted wooden units, a lovely slate floor and a large oak table seating ten with views of the garden and paddocks.The property is wifi enabled with fibre optic broadband and NOW TV. The games room is in the stable block adjacent to the house and contains a table tennis table, sofa and TV as well as a table and chairs so ideal for board games. The paddocks are home to three Shetland ponies, much loved by visiting children. The master bedroom suite has a dressing room and ensuite shower room. It is triple aspect with a full length picture widow commanding views of the paddocks and woodland. Other bedrooms also have views of the paddocks and fields. The cottage garden is well stocked with plants and flowers; it is south facing so gets plenty of sun and is equipped with garden furniture - table and chairs, sun loungers and a barbecue. We welcome well behaved dogs in the main farmhouse. Sorry, but no smoking indoors.

I have lived in many places including France and Italy and London and my job has taken me to many countries and everywhere has something to offer but I have a deep love of Pembrokeshire. I have spent the last five years doing up the property and it is my home, rather than a holiday property, the place I plan to retire to. I love the location - this area of Pembrokeshire is populated all year, not just by tourists in the holidays. I love the beaches, the fishing villages and the county towns. I also like the fact that it is not remote - that there is a wide choice of shopping both in terms of supermarkets and "interesting shops" to browse...

Notes:
Outside: There is a private cottage garden, paddocks and a field leading to woodland - there are Shetland ponies in the paddock and field. Utility Room: The utility room has a sink unit, washing machine and tumble dryer. It also has plenty of cupboards so ample storage and lots of hooks for coats and jackets. The downstairs shower room is off the utility room. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: We provide bed linen, bath towels and handtowels but no beach towels. The property is cleaned between lets - whether weekly or short breaks.

Fantastic, well equipped, lovely farmhouse cottage.

We were welcomed with a lovely hamper of things for our stay and quickly oriented ourselves to the lovely house - beds were comfortable, room at the kitchen table for all of us and lovely outside space, including horses/ponies to feed.

Separate utility space with sink, washing machine and dryer meant we could keep on top of laundry and sort everything for our two dogs.

Even the layout in the lounge meant the football fans could watch match of the day whilst the others played cards in the other half of the room!

We enjoyed the local area... So much to see and do! We look forward to returning to the area and would love to use the house again - wonderful!

Great farmhouse!

Very comfortable farmhouse well equipped, loved it!! We all played table tennis after a long gap of some 20 years - great fun! Lovely holiday walking to coastal path.

Large, well furnished, peaceful house

Great weekend spent with a group of 20 something friends just outside Haverfordwest. The house is great - huge, comfy beds and very well furnished. We loved the table tennis table and lovely kitchen in particular. Would highly recommend!

Owner's Response: I am delighted you enjoyed yourselves. I should probably point out that we didn't accommodate all 20 of you! We can sleep 10/11 in the house plus 4 in the two bedroom barn available. As of Easter we will have new additional accommodation for another 2 + 1....
