The Creamery

Beautiful 2 bedroom barn - both have double beds and one also has a single bed on request. This barn has one large family bathroom. The living room and kitchen are open plan, with a woodburning stove to keep you cosy in the winter!

The kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher, washing machine, tower fridge and freezer and microwave.

Exposed beams throughout.

About the property


We have 3 barns each set in a shared courtyard, each with a small garden and terrace. They are located on a working arable farm with access to many country walks and great for cycling. Each barn has been converted into a luxurious 2 bedroom apartment, with open plan living and kitchen area. The kitchens are modern and the living rooms all have wood burning stoves. The barns boast exposed beams throughout. The barns are close to may attractions including historical market towns such as Hitchin, Buntingford, Hertford and Cambridge. You can also get to London on the train from Stevenage in only 20 minutes. Other attractions include Cromer windmill, Wimpole Estate, Hatfield House, Paradise Wildlife Park, Shrepreth wildlife Park, Knebworth to name a few. Harry Potter studios are about 45 minutes drive from here too.

De woning is prima, de plek minder.

Het huisje doet gezellig aan. Pannenvoorraad was iets minder evenals het schoon zijn ervan. Ook af en toe wat kevertjes in huis. Het matras lag echt heel slecht, recht op de spiralen. Na 3 dagen kwamen we erachter dat het omgedraaid lag en de andere kant veel beter was!

Het huisje heeft ramen niet op ooghoogte. Vanuit het huisje zie je dan ook niets van je omgeving. Veel natuur maar te afgelegen om 's avonds nog ergens naar toe te kunnen lopen. De weg er naar toe vanuit Cottered is erg smal en, links rijdend, doodeng. Gelukkig is dit maar een kort stukje. Wel een goede uitvalsbasis voor Cambridge en Londen.
