Our lovely holiday home is situated 2 minutes walk from the centre of Bushmills and 5 minutes drive to the Giant's Causeway, fabulous beaches and golf courses. As well as the famous Distillery to tour around, Bushmills has great coffee shops and restaurants and there is lots to do in nearby Portrush and Portstewart. The accommodation is all ground floor and comprises a double bedroom with en-suite and a twin bedded room. The living room also has a sofa bed if you need it. There is a kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge-freezer and washer/dryer which is open plan to the living area. We have installed a multi fuel stove and Freeview TV plus DVD player. BT infinity, Superfast, unlimited wi-fi throughout. Heating and hot water are gas powered. There is also a main bathroom with bath and overhead shower and you are welcome to use the barbecue. Hairdryer, bed linens and towels (excluding beach towels) included. There is a small front and rear garden area (with small table and 2 chairs where you can enjoy a coffee or glass of wine) which is not enclosed and which is communal. As you can see from the photos this is our much loved holiday home which we have furnished with love and care. The beds are so comfy and most of the furnishings are from Next, Creations or Laura Ashley - it is a world away from most holiday lets which are very basic and not very homely. Why not enjoy a traditional week away poking around rock pools, collecting shells and reminding yourself of the holidays you enjoyed as a child, in a setting which is a home from home.
We are married with 4 children and several pets! We bought Causeway Cottage when it was newly built (although it's cleverly designed to look quite old!). We hadn't intended to rent it out, but as our kids got older, we used it less. We furnished it the way we wanted and think it's very homely.
Marina Hoey purchased this apartment in 2006
The North Coast of Northern Ireland is still very undeveloped in many ways. As we live in the city, we wanted somewhere that was less busy. The beaches in the vicinity are stunning (some are blue flag) and there is always lots to do. Last, but not least, we have found the people in the area really friendly.
Our apartment is on the outskirts of Bushmills, which is a small town with a very famous brewery which you can tour! Walking into the town takes 5 minutes. You are a 5 - 10 minute drive from the Giants Causeway, Dunluce Castle, Royal Portrush Golf Links, and magnificent beaches.
We stayed in Causeway Cottage for 3 nights over New Year, from the minute we got there it was excellent, the heating was on for us and candles lit. The house decor is beautiful and an added extra of a Christmas tree really made it homely. We brought our dog too and this worked out perfect the house is spacious...
I had a great time here with my wife and two young kids. The cottage had everything we needed and was a great base for us to explore the north coast. Would definitely recommend.
Enjoyed a 3 night stay. Fantastic location, convenient to beaches, coastal walks, giants causeway, golf courses, scenery stunning. Two minutes drive to the famous Bushmills Inn where we enjoyed a delicious lunch. Cottage very comfortable with a cosy open fire and fully fitted kitchen. Would recommend this property and hope to stay again in the not too distant future
my husband and I stayed in Bushmills cottage with another couple. We found the cottage lovely and homely. It had everything we needed for our stay. The location was excellent. Near to lots of tourist attractions. Giant causeway is only a couple of miles down the road. Finn Mac Cools public house and guest inn. Is well worth a visit. Everyone is very friendly. We spend some very good nights in there. We will hopefully be returning next year.
We had a wonderful time the cottage was all and more than we expected, spotless and very comfortable. thank you
Comfortable and well equipped apartment within walking distance of many good restaurants (e.g. La Tartine, French Rooms), take aways, local shops. Easy access to coast by car or along walking routes. Helpful owner.

Really well situated for seeing all the sights and stunning coastline of Northern Ireland and the amazing Giants Causeway. The apartment is really comfortable, cosy and clean and has all the facilities to make for an enjoyable stay. Has its own parking and easily reached from Belfast. Micheal and Marina made the booking very clear and easy. Bushmills is a really good location with local facilities, restaurants, pubs and takeaways. Thumbs up all round.
Recommend the carrick-a-rede and the tour around Bushmills Distillery even if you don't drink whiskey!
Causeway Cottage is a quality property with everything supplied for a comfortable relaxing break. The location is perfect to easily reach many of the beautiful sights that the Causeway coast has to offer. I would not hesitate to recommend property to friends & family.
White Park Bay is a spectacular sandy beach 6 miles away. It forms a white arc between two headlands on the North Antrim coast. In this secluded location and even on a busy day there is plenty of room for quiet relaxation.
White Rocks Beach was awarded the prestigious Blue Flag Award in 2014, and is a must see destination for international visitors. The beach is a magnet for water sports enthusiasts, especially surfers, but body boarders and surf kayakers are also regular visitors.
Belfast International Airport is approx 40 miles from Bushmills. Belfast to Bushmills is also approx 55 miles. Driving time is around 70 minutes.
