Bedrooms 3
Space 40 m²
Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 3 - 5 nights

Pitbladdo Sleeps 6 (3 Bedrooms)

The cabins are very new, having just opened in summer 2012.

Bedroom 1 is a double room with a large en-suit shower and toilet. Views from the bedroom look south from the elevated position across the Bay of St Andrews and the rolling countryside beneath.

Bedroom 2 & 3 are twin rooms with beds that can be made up as doubles or twin singles. The bedrooms are on one level and share the bathroom. Each room enjoys wonderful views across our family farm. What better way to wake up than to see the sheep or horses grazing in the paddock.

There is a shared bathroom with bath and overhead drench shower and handheld rose. The en-suit bathroom has a large easy access cubicle with overhead drench and handheld rose. Both showers are power showers with much of the hot water being provided by solar panels.

The new kitchen forms part of the open plan living area. Equipment includes gas range hobs, electric fan assisted oven, microwave, integrated fridge/freezer and dishwasher.

Why Stephen Melville chose Saint Andrews

The two luxury eco-cabins were built as a means of diversifying on the 3rd generation family farm.

There is nothing not to love about the area. Seclusion, ease of access and complete peace and tranquility are all available at St Andrews Country Cabins. It is the stunning views towards the Bay of St Andrews and the quiet rural location set amongst the rolling hills of north east Fife, that really set the properties and location apart from others in the area.

What makes this cabin unique

The farm is ideally located just 10 minutes from St Andrews, The Home of Golf, and 15 minutes Dundee, the city of Discovery, and yet it is such a quiet and peaceful location for a holiday. Families can enjoy seclusion, safety and all the benefits of a rural location and the attractions of a quiet mixed farm.

St Andrews offers glorious award winning beaches, abundant historical experiences in the University town and St Andrews is of course The Home of Golf, boasting numerous award wining and championship courses for all.

On the farm there are woodland walks, farm tracks, sheep and horses to admire and a private play park.
