Short family getaway
We enjoyed our short time in Dolwyddelan. The house had lots of room, and was in a great location to explore Snowdonia and other parts of Northern Wales.

Lovely location
It was a nice property in a great location lovely views on surroundings peaceful and relaxing. not too far from shops and some great drives to places in the Northern area. Yes it’s a great spot with lots of room but needs to be centered on basics It was cold and wet but no heating on we had to set the system. It was a bit too dusty even for an old building. Barely no toilet roll. No hand towels lists of to do’s Needs TLC and a bit of investment. In total great place but not great value

Beautiful house, beautiful views, beautiful stay!
This house was perfect for our two families. Our kids had so much fun on the piano and in the back garden, while we adults enjoyed the wonderful conservatory. Easy walk to the village, and to the waterfall and castle.

.My name is Nicky. I have been an owner of Pont Arenig since 1990. my father lived in the house for many years and furnished and decorated it in keeping with the age of the property. My children spent all their holidays at Pont Arenig, climbing mountains, cycling along the quieter lanes and playing in the river. On wet days we always found plenty to do. Our greatest and most lasting love however, are the trains of North Wales! steam, electric or diesel they all are captivating and pass through unparalled scenery.
