About michelle dawn croft
We live in the Northwest of England with our Jack Russell, we purchased Crud Yr Awel 15 years ago after holidaying in Abersoch for many years, we love the area and have never got tired of the magnificent views and stunning beaches this peninsula has to offer we are still finding new places to visit even after almost 20 years it is sometimes worth getting off the beaten track. Crud Yr Awel is a real home from home with a well equipped kitchen, beautiful bed linen and fittings making it feel that little bit more special.

Why michelle dawn croft chose Llithfaen
The magnificent views, peace and quiet and really away from it all for those special times away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crud Yr Awel and were really sad to leave! The property was so homely, comfortable and impeccably clean. It was very spacious and our two dogs absolutely loved running around the garden, which was fully enclosed (even for our little escape artists!). The views from the property were absolutely stunning (photos just do not do them justice) - countryside from one side, mountain at the rear and sea out the front - what more could you ask for? The surrounding area was absolutely stunning and around every corner there is another spectacular view. We particularly enjoyed Nefyn beach, Whistling Sands, Black Rock Sands, Criccieth and Nant Gwrtheyrn. The house was very well equipped and we spent so much time in the conservatory staring at the wonderful scenery and watching the weather change. Listening to Storm Dennis whilst sitting in front of the log burner was very cosy! Comfortable beds, a very generous welcome hamper, lots of thoughtful touches....I could go on and on! Can’t wait to return to this little gem very soon!
Hard to find sufficient superlatives for this holiday property...amazing views, peaceful location, comfortable, clean and very well equipped bungalow in a lovely and captivating part of Wales. Lots of personal little touches that helped us feel very welcome and at home. We'll definitely be back!
Wonderful cosy place
In life, sometimes it's the little things that matter the most. This place was full of those little things that made our stay at Crud YR Awel a very comfortable and enjoyable one.
The house was very clean with clear instructions throughout, from reaching the place to using everything at the property.
The place was more than well equipped for our three day comfortable stay with all needed kitchen equipments readily available. Upon arrival, we were nicely greated by a lovely basket of chocolates and biscuits with even a fresh milk in the fridge.
It can be unmistakingly perceived that the owner had gone to lengths to make sure that there is enough of these little things that we could need and certainly had a great impact on our stay. This included enough washing up power, dishwasher tablets, sachets of shampoo, soap, washing up liquid, dvds, books, board games, wood for the log burner, iron, towels etc.
The views from the house are exceptional and the location is great.
We would be more than happy to stay here again.
A well deserved 5/5 *
Absolutely loved our recent stay at the very homely Crud Yr Awel in Llithfaen. The house is exactly as per the photos, it’s spotlessly clean & has everything we needed plus the views out to sea are fabulous! It’s ideally located for day trips out regardless of the weather. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in this lovely part of Wales!
