About this property

Converted Barn With Private Pool

Fantastic stone contemporary barn conversion with its own private pool. It is very modern inside and exceptionally well equipped with everything you may need. You enter the barn upstairs, walking over a drawbridge to the open planned living area and kitchen. The kitchin has stainless steel freestanding units, masses of cupboard space and a very large dining table which can accommodate over 8 people. The living area is very large with plenty of comfortable seating. The large television receives all English free view channels, and all Sky channels.
Stairs lead downstairs to the bedrooms, all with doors that open out onto the pool terrace, and where you have a view of the treetops below. The master bedroom is large and has an gorgeous ensuite shower room. There are two further bedroom , one with 2 single beds, the other with a kingsize double. There is a family shower room and a utility room that leads out from it. The utility room has a washer dryer, iron and ironing board and all cleaning products that may be needed.
Outside there is a large terrace with a 10m by 5m private swimming pool. This is newly built and has 3 deep steps leading down to a 1.5m pool. There are ample sun loungers and seats available to enjoy this very sunny terrace. On a higher terrace there is a dining area with plenty of seating for all. There is a gas BBQ also available. A covered barn provides storage for all garden equipment.

A real gem of a property in a perfect location
We’ve had a brilliant week! The house inside and out is modern with original features and very well equipped. Peaceful location in the countryside but only 20 minutes from bustling and historic Cahors. Loved everything about this property especially the pool and terrace. Didn’t want to leave and will definitely return.

Lovely house
As a 3 generation family group, we stayed for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time in the property. It is a beautiful barn conversion, very comfortable and well equipped with a really good pool and stunning outside lighting. It’s well placed for access to Cahors and exploring the Lot region. Why they chose this property

The property was purchased in France because of the families love of the area. When it's not rented the home is is used by the large extended family.

What makes this property unique

The uniqueness of the property is what drew the family to it. It was so not what they were thinking of buying, but with one visit, they knew it was the one for them. The openness of the upstairs and the quality of the design, stands out as soon as you enter it. The location is beautiful for walks and the peace and quiet is just what is needed. A pool was built in 2013, making it a fantastic place for a family holiday.
