Weekend break in Coldingham
The cottage was excellent: clean, very well equipped and conveniently located in the attractive village of Coldingham.
Our break was brilliant. The coastal walks were stunning. Coldingham is conveniently located for access to the borders region, with many attractions to visit.
We will certainly visit again.
Lovely Property and Location
A very comfortable, spotlessly clean and incredibly well equiped cottage in a lovely location.
Perfectly located near the village centre, the beach and coastal paths to St Abbs and Eyemouth are within walking distance.
For trips further affield, Edinburgh, Berwick-Upon Tweed and the Northumberland coast are all easily reachable by car. I cannot fault this property and the owner has thought of everything to ensure guests have a smooth and enjoyable stay. Highly recommend.
Beautiful Thornbank Cottage

Comfortable and clean, exactly as stated on HomeAway.
Enjoyed our trip to area, which was lovely!
A great cottage which was well equipped in a fantastic location. The beach is a must along with the coastal walk to St Abbs.
Delighted you enjoyed your time at Thornbank Cottage.
Thanks so much for the review.
Coldingham grew up around the 12th Century Priory and is one of the prettiest villages in Scotland. Within a few minutes’ walk from the cottage are two friendly pubs. The village also has a café, a Spar convenience store, a butchers and post office with tourist information facilities. About a mile from the cottage is Coldingham Bay, which is well known for its surfing. From there walkers can join the Berwickshire Coast Path and the John Muir Way. Also close by is the port of St Abbs, a haven for diving, sea-fishing, boating and bird watching. Near to Coldingham is the beautiful Berwickshire coast and Scottish Borders for historic sightseeing, world famous golf courses and salmon and trout fishing. Finally, Edinburgh is only an hour away!
