A pretty house but very remote and the check in and check out experience was terrible
The house is very nice. It is a traditional finca, sensitively restored. However on the negative side it has a musty smell and it was not particularly clean. Also, not only no air conditioning (which I would not have expected) but no fans and the rooms are very stuffy as the bedrooms have tiny windows - like the port hole of a ship. It’s impossible to sleep on a hot night. Also no mosquito nets. The house is very difficult to find and a good 20 - 40 minutes away from all the beaches but the remote location has its charm.
I am sorry to hear you had problems with the check-in and check-out, could you please specify what problems you had exactly?
With regards to the cleaning and smell of the house, we will speak to Francesca regarding this matter.
We will also look into the possibility of putting fans and mosquito nets in the house.
I look forward to your reply.
La Mola is a quiet place, away from the most tourist areas, although the craft markets bring a lot of life during the days when they are celebrated, Wednesdays and Sundays. You will be able to stroll through its white typical streets of the island's farmers (Pilar de la Mola is on a plateau, in the highest area of Pitiusa) and wrap yourself in the island breeze. It has few shops and restaurants, although they are very good, so it is the perfect destination if you are looking for tranquility, simplicity and isolation.
The island treasures monuments and legends that give that magic and spiritual touch.
When the sun goes down and you are looking for a place where to let yourself go without looking at the time you will have to keep in mind that the holiday of this paradise also does not resemble that of its sister islands or anywhere else. Many visitors go after the trail of Flower Power parties and hippie charm.
