Mill Barn

Mill Barn is a traditional stone barn, sleeping 6, renovated to retain its original character and offering a peaceful self-catering holiday retreat in a perfect location for exploring Cornwall. Converted from the farm's two-storey granary store, as you enter upstairs the large open plan living area has its original high-beamed ceiling with great views across the valley. With a well-equipped kitchen, dining area, comfy sofas, wide screen TV, DVD, free wi-fi and a wood burning stove for those cosy winter evenings. There is also a separate snug/games room. Downstairs are 3 bedrooms, a main double bedroom with original granite floor and grain sill, and along the cobbled hallway are 2 twin rooms. At one end is a large bathroom with luxury freestanding bath on original slate floor, and at the other is a large shower room. Mill Barn has an outdoor covered terrace with bbq looking out across the valley. Parking onsite.

Tredarrup is a wonderfully situated complex of four quality grade two listed barn conversions, Mill Barn, Stable Cottage, The Shippon and The Wagon, set in seven acres of beautiful Cornish countryside. Rated 5 Star Gold and 4 Star Gold by VisitEngland. Wonderful setting for couples and families. Ideally located for exploring the North Cornwall coast, Bodmin Moor and destinations such as Padstow, Port Isaac and Poldark country to name but a few. We are a short drive from numerous superb beaches and the many restaurants that give North Cornwall its deserved reputation as an outstanding dining destination.

All our cottages retain much character being built from traditional stone and granite and all feature wood-burning stoves for all year comfort. In addition to private outdoor seating areas we also have a large shared grassed area for enjoying the spectacular views and abundant local wildlife.

A utility room is provided for our guests with a coin operated washing machine and tumble dryer. Wetsuits and muddy boots can be stored here and there are a selection of games for guests use. Washing and storage facilities for bicycles can also be provided by arrangement.

Tredarrup is beautifully situated, near North Cornwall's coast and beaches, set amongst farmland with fantastic views across North Cornwall's Allen Valley. St Teath, the local village, has a newsagent, grocery store and a pub with good food. Within easy reach of the North Cornish Coast, surfing at Polzeath, sailing or fishing at Rock, sand castles at Daymer Bay, cycling along the famous Camel Trail, moorland and coastal walks. Nearby are Padstow, Boscastle, Bodmin Moor and the historic fishing village of Port Issac. Only half an hour from the Eden Project and 40 minutes from The Lost Gardens of Heligan.

We are located off the A39 near St Teath and Michaelstow, our nearest towns are Camelford, Wadebridge and Bodmin.
