Outside, the terrace runs along the length of the back of the house, and provides plenty of space for outdoor eating and cooking. Outdoor tables, sunshades and chairs are provided. A gas barbecue is available, together with a firepit on a stand for the cooler evenings (wood available in the barn). There is parking for around 6 cars, including two undercover spaces in the open barn.

The gardens are large, with mature trees and shrubs as well as herbaceous borders and plenty of grass. There are garden benches at various places throughout the gardens. There is a very small stream running through the property, as well as extensive lawns, paths and woods. There is a wildlife pond (fenced) which provides a nice place to sit and watch the dragonflies from the table and chairs on the adjoining decking.

Why they chose this property

Over the last 25 years we and our children have spent our holidays here, enjoying a laid-back french lifestyle within beautiful countryside. The children have had plenty of space to explore - woods and fields - and been able to get to know the local wildlife. Over the years we have worked on the house and garden and now have a very comfortable large house and beautiful gardens. We love to share it with others and hope they get as much pleasure from it as we do.

What makes this property unique

Big enough for multiple families to share a countryside holiday. 8 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, 2 sitting rooms, a dining table that seats 14 and more eating facilities outside on the terrace. Very well-equipped with everything you need for cooking. Well connected via broadband for entertainment.
