About this property

Villa Caretta is situated 1 mile outside the village of Esentepe in a small development of 9 villas with it's own private pool. It has a fully equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms plus a downstairs sitting room with sofa bed. Free high speed wifi. Three terraced areas around the villa offer shade throughout the day. High chair and travel cot are available. Esentepe is a typical large village with several grocery stores and restaurants. Larger supermarkets are found on the main coast road about 15 minutes away by car. Aligadi beaches are 20 mins drive away where you can watch turtles being released during the summer months. The prestigious Korineum 18 hole golf course is 15 minute drive away. The main town of Girne is 30 minutes away and has a picturesque harbour, a historic castle and lots of restaurants as well as opportunities for boat excursions.

Schöne Villa

Es war toll und wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Am Anfang hatten wir ein kleines Problem, aber durch die prompte und sehr freundlichen Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war es schnell und gut gelöst. Wir können diese Villa und vor allem den schönen Pool nur empfehlen.

Quaint villa in Esentepe area

The villa is located in Esentepe village on the eastern side of the main road where mostly expat families have their villas. It is at the end of a cove which gives privacy and also has better views of hillside and the sea. The view from the pool area is very nice and there is a nice breeze coming through unobstructed due to location of the particular villa. There are three potential patio areas to choose from. We mainly sat by the pool due to the view and used the patio umbrellas available for shade. Inside the villa, it is decorated with taste. The kids loved the pool and we spent most of the time there. If you are interested in the beach, it is accessible but you need to plan 15-20 minutes to drive down the road to go to a local beach, for example the famous Alagadi Turtle Beach which is nearby. The village center is about 10 minutes by car and has the necessities like a supermarket. It is a relatively small village and has relatively limited options for restaurants if you plan to eat out on a regular basis. The owners provided a nice welcome package which was really appreciated to serve a breakfast before heading out to get food and other items. Owners were quick to respond to messages, and had local contact Donna who answered questions and helped with anything that came up. Overall, I think this was a good value and recommend for a family vacation.

I part own the villa with my husband and another couple. We live in West Berkshire and all love travelling. Most of us work in the IT industry and have been friends threw our children who are all now grown up.

We loved the quiet location of this villa. We have friends who also live permanently next door which is a great bonus for us.
