A quiet, modern apartment with breath-taking views of the bay of Monaco, Monaco harbour & the surrounding mountains.

There is one bedroom with double bed,dressing table, hair dryer & large mirrored wardrobe. A bathroom with a large corner bath & shower over, a hand basin with a large tiled area for storing toiletries, etc, and WC.

The living area is well furnished with a large sofa & a sofa bed providing sleeping for two adults if necessary, a circular dinning table & four dinning chairs. The kitchen adjoins the dinning area & is very well equipped with utensils, a breakfast bar & stools. There is an electric cooker, dishwasher, washer, microwave, toaster, kettle, iron & ironing board. Throughout plenty of storage space for clothes & belongings.

There is a balcony with table & chairs to enjoy the magnificent view of sea & village life & on occasions. Wild boar in the forest & firework displays over Monaco.

Also wall mounted TV, radio & DVD player.

The property benefits from private parking in a garage. Bed linen & towels are provided, with a small extra charge for changing if required during a stay of more than one week. Also a refundable damage deposit of £250 GBP or equivalent to be sent separately with final payment. This is returned immediately at the end of your holiday. There is a well stocked store cupboard with cooking essentials, condiments, flour, sauces, etc. This operates on a 'use & replace' basis.

Very nice apartment in lovely medieval village

We really appreciated this apartment in Roquebrune (village). The village is stunning, is a great place to explore and has several good restaurants. Being a little on altitude (250m) means it's somewhat cooler in the evening, has a welcome breeze and is also away from the crowds. A car is ideal, though there seems to be a good bus service (not tried).

For the apartment, we really appreciated the stunning views. A real 180-degree view of the coast, Monaco and the hills of Roquebrune; the lack of vis-a-vis (hence the view) and the terrace (though small) is still great for a meal for two. We also appreciated the well stocked kitchen (someone likes to cook or thinks of others who do) and the parking space available. Our first time in Roquebrune (though not to the area) and would definitely return, and to this apartment.

Lovely apartment in a fantastic medieval village with wonderful views over Monaco.

We arrived exhausted after a long drive and as soon as we saw the apartment we relaxed and knew that we were very lucky to be in such a unique area. The apartment is very well equipped to a high standard. We would love to return sometime.

A lovely apartment in a great setting!

A lovely apartment which was exceptionally well equipped, clean and well-maintained. It had wonderful views looking out towards Monaco from the balcony. We had a very efficient service from Jill, the owner, who promptly replied to our queries and gave very good instructions on how to find the property.

We loved the old village of Roquebrune Cap Martin - what a gem! Everyone was really friendly and we liked the fact that a lot of locals live there and it wasn't over run with tourists.

We didn't have a car which didn't bother us as we made use of the local shuttle service in the daytime and in the evenings there was a choice of 4 really good restaurants in the village. We did also venture up and down the steps to the village a couple of times which were well -lit in the evening.

We will definitely be returning!

Exactly what I was looking for!

This apartment is absolutely delightful. Simple yet very nice, and a view that just can't be beat! It's located in a beautiful village but is extremely close to everything. A car is essential (there is a tight but covered garage for use) but I did notice a shuttle routinely around so I believe public transit is an option. Everyone around is very nice and there are amazing restaurants near by. The local hotel/restaurant has a dining area out of a novel and food that's tough to beat. The hotel/resturant is also very well priced considering the quality of food, service, and view. I will absolutely be staying again here in the future.

A little note though: HOLD ONTO YOUR PACKET! We forgot ours and Jill was extremely patient with helping us find everything. However if we had just remembered our packet that Jill had sent everything would have gone smoothly. The apartment is a bit tough to find but definitely worth it.

The perfect location for a Riviera experience.

This apartment is clean,well equipped and secure with the bonus of dedicated parking relatively close to.

The location is absolutely perfect for exploring the "buzz" of the beachside towns that are readily accessable by car,train/bus or foot and when ready a return to a haven of peace in a classic Mediterranean old village setting. If you prefer- the network of GR walking tracks lead virtually from the front door to the mountain hinterland and the "perched villages" full of history that should not be missed. The apartment's stunning medieval village surroundings will immerse you in the tranquillity, charm and community of the Riviera of the old days. The view from the balcony over the sea to Monte Carlo is a delight in itself.

There are good restaurants, cafe and a bar reasonably near, up and down old stone staircases and alleys that make for an evening stroll of discovery and fascination.

The village does now have a shop where the essentials of the first days are available including fresh baguettes-look for the enterprising lady's blackboard sign to "Le Magasin" near the Church and war memorial just along from the Square.

Overall this apartment is highly recommended for some time exploring and experiencing the Riviera of today and yesterday from a very convenient and comfortable base.

This charming apartment is situated on the edge of the medieval village of Roquebrune, so benefiting from the romance & history of the picturesque ancient buildings, but having modern amenities itself.

The immaculately clean, winding streets of the old village surrounding the 10th century castle, which overlooks the area, give endless scope for exploring, and here you will find many restaurants & bars to suit all tastes & budgets. The famous 1000 year old olive tree is on the path down the hillside to Menton. Should you wish to walk, the coastal paths give stunning views & are within easy access.

Menton, about three miles away, is an attractive seaside resort with beautiful shops & a great many restaurants.

The Italian border, with proximity to towns such as Ventimiglia known for its market, is no distance. The opposite direction takes you to the glamour of Monaco, with the beauty of the famous casino, world renowned shops & the spectacle of the yachts in the harbour.
