Beeindruckend

Mit 7 Erwachsenen und einem Kleinkind durften wir in der Villa Glicini eine Woche übernachten. Das Haus ist toll, top gepflegt von innen und außen, beeindruckend groß (geschätzt sicher 400m2), sehr hohe Decken, großzügige Räume, die geschmackvoll in italienischem Stil eingerichtet sind. Es gibt hier nicht das übliche abgenutzte Standardmobiliar, das sich in vielen Ferienwohnungen, grad über air-bnb, findet. Auch der Garten ist groß und sehr geschmackvoll bepflanzt. Die Vermieter wohnen gegenüber, die Vermieterin hat ein wachsames Auge auf alles. Dies wurde aber durch den überaus freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Charme des Vermieters ausgeglichen. In Kalabrien sieht man wenige schöne Häuser, die Villa war unserer Meinung nach das Schönste weit und breit.

Don’t stay longer than a week

Great house. Owners are controlling. Started our first day. At initial walk through they locked the ground floor powder room. We thought that odd but said nothing. Then they locked one of the bedrooms. We told them it would eventually be needed so they unlocked it. Once some our our guests left they didn’t want to remake the three bedrooms. They are invasive. They live next door and on many occasions were in our rental without our knowledge doing laundry. Could have been some awkward situations. Speaking of laundry, only one load allowed per day and NO partials. Too many other rules to list. Last thing is the pool is in the owners yard and you have access through a gate. Not the best situation.

Elegant Home Centrally Located in Calabria

This wonderful villa in Lamezia Terme served as a great home base for our family as we spent time enjoying the many wonders of Calabria. The home is beautiful with all of the amenities that we were looking for. We enjoyed playing billiards, dining in the garden and using the fully-equipped kitchen. The owners were attentive and responsive to our needs, including recommendations for great restaurants and other events.
