Summer activities:: Tennis courts are located 5 minutes walking distance from the apartment with neighbouring swimming pool open all summer.

If you prefer Olympic sized swimming pool, wave pool, water slides and therapeutic whirlpools you can visit City Centre Aquatic Complex located 5 minutes driving from the apartment.

Some of the parks and beaches located close by: (travel time from the apartment added by each destination)

Belcarra Regional Park with Sasamat Lake in Port Moody located 16 minutes drive from the apartment (one of the warmest lakes in Greater Vancouver ) and Buntzen Lake in Anmore (19 minutes drive)

In summer day’s you can relax at Sasamat Lake’s White Pine Beach. You can relax at the beach, swim in clean water, go fishing or circle Belcarra’s Sasamat Lake. The Sasamat Lake Loop (1.5 miles/2.5 km return) will take you around the lake from White Pine Beach going south to a floating boardwalk that crosses the lake back to the beach.

In addition to a nice beach, there are a few hiking trails around the Buntzen Lake.

You can choose from 4 to 12 hours hiking time. Trails are used also by Mountain Bikers and Equestrians.

Mundy Park the largest park in Coquitlam (176 hectares/435 acres) has many walking trails that pass the park's two lakes - Mundy Lake and Lost Lake. The park features outdoor swimming pool, playgrounds, picnic area, (12 minutes drive)

What makes this house unique

I purchased this property because it is about 30 minutes away from Vancouver. It is great location in quiet neighborhood. Close to downtown and close to nature.

Nice place to stay

The unit was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The owner was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. Location was very convenient for what we wanted to do around Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam. I would definitely recommend it to others.

This was a lovely accommodation, roomy, central and well equipped.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this clean, spacious suite while we were in town for a family wedding. We were walking distance to Coquitlam Center and the sky train station and the area was family friendly, quiet and safe. The hosts were readily accessible without intruding in any way and the suite was immaculate, well equipped and comfortable. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to friends and would stay here again.

very nice & comfy for a small family like us.

Unit is conveniently situated. There's a close by bus stop (walking distance of abt 5 mins) which can take oneself to a big shopping mall whereby one can get all necessities one requires. There's a skytrain station nearby the shopping mall too.

Overall, we've really enjoyed our stay here.

Large two bedroom suite with room enough for six people if needed . Washer and dryer available for use with laundry detergent .

we cooked all our dinners and there was a large fridge and enough pots and pans. Also included microwave, coffeemaker, and toaster ... the pantry was minimally stocked with coffee, tea, salt and pepper .

Loved the heated fireplace and heated bathroom floor.

Beautiful suite in a two level home. It's very clean, quiet, private entrance. Lovely!

Enjoyed our stay here. Highly recommend. The inlet train station is about a 10 minute walk, everything you need is within walking distance. Quiet neighborhood. While it's a separate suite in the home (with seperate entrance as well), it feels like your own little apartment. Rooms are spacious, everything works well. Host is awesome, friendly and very accommodating! If we were ever in the area again, we'd stay here in a heart beat.

Our apartment is located in the city of Coquitlam, 30 minutes drive away from Vancouver. Stay close to everything what the city of Vancouver has to offer, while enjoying the peacefulness and serenity of suburban living and outdoor activities of the Vancouver coast. 

Each morning you can take a 25 minutes scenic ride on the West Coast Express to down town Vancouver. The express train will take you back to Coquitlam in the afternoon.

Grouse Mountain, Cypress, and Seymour skiing areas are within 35-50 minutes drive.

Coquitlam has currently over 80 parks ranging from smaller neighbourhood parks and playgrounds to larger city parks. 

Outdoor sport enthusiasts can choose from a few gulf courses in the area, or tennis courts just a walking distance away. The Coquitlam's trail system encompasses about 90km of hiking trails. A number of picturesque lakes and connecting waterways make up for a paradise for canoe or kayaking lovers.

Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole, par 72, 6770 yard course.

Won the Best New Course in Canada award for 1996. Season from April to October. 4km/3ml (9 minutes drive)

Eaglequest - golf and mini-golf - 1001 United Boulevard 11km/7 mi (18 min)

BC place stadium -Women's world cup 2015 - about 30 min drive.

Ski: Grouse Mountain, Cypress, and Seymour skiing areas are within 35-50 minutes drive. Travel time to the Whistler Olympic sites is about 2 ½ hours.
