About this property

Studio Apartment In Historic Prescott Downtown

Imagine all the fun you can have in Prescott if you don’t have to worry about driving and parking but instead having just a short 2 block walk to enjoy the shopping, dining and the summer evening events in Historic Prescott’s courthouse square. This is an adorable large studio apartment (approximately 350 sq ft) just 2 convenient blocks from historic Prescott’s courthouse square. The apartment is built over the main house garage but has its own separate entrance with an adjacent patio for relaxing in the summer evenings. It is located in the historic district of the city, behind a 1920s bungalow. Please keep in mind that because it is located above the garage, there are a few steps involved.
During the day, visit the shops in downtown Prescott or, on weekends, enjoy the various craft fairs that come to town. In the evenings take your lawn chair and in a short 5 minute walk you are ready to enjoy the nightly summer activities around the square.
As you enter the apartment, you will see the bathroom (with a custom tile shower) to your left prior to entering the living area to your right. The main room has a couch that will convert to a double bed and a flat screen TV that has satellite TV with Phoenix local stations and HBO. The 7 ft ceilings add to the cozy feel. The sleeping area is not entirely private but is separated from the main room by a long wall. It has a queen bed and its own flat screen TV. Both TVs operate off of one satellite box so both are tuned to the same channel all of the time. The apartment can sleep 4 but it is not recommended. We have personally done it but it gets very crowded in the small space.
The small dining area is next to a fully equipped kitchen which has a small oven/range, microwave and refrigerator. The apartment has a window air conditioner and, if you get cold, a fireplace style heating unit. Wi-Fi is also available.
While we don’t have room for a laundry area there is a laundrymat located less than 50 yds away.
This is a non smoking residence inside but smoking is allowed on the outside patio
Small pets with prior approval and deposit. No Cats. VRBO doesnt show it but the pet deposit is refundable provided there is no damage or additional cleaning required due to the dog

Great place to base yourself!
We were visiting Prescott from Australia for two weeks and we're looking for a home away from home where we could cook if we wanted rather than eat out every night. Well, we ended up eating out every day and night because Prescott has such a choice of restaurants, pubs etc. we found the property to be clean (and I am fussy), it had everything we needed, coffee maker, new fridge, great bed that suited both Mama Bear and Father Bear, not too hard, not too soft, and everything was ready for us such as towels, clean linen, kitchen things all provided if you wish to cook. There is off street parking right out the front and a short walk down the side of the house with two gates, so very private, very quiet, and if you need the Laundromat it is very close by. Quick response from the owner prior to booking if you have any questions. Also enjoyed the beautiful morning sunshine streaming in the Windows and unfortunately had to return to the Australian winter. Would definitely use this property again, and is walking distance to Whiskey Row. Be sure to check out the The Palace, and Prescott Brewing Company.

Cozy and clean!
Great location and quiet neighborhood. 5 minute walk to downtown square. Host was very accommodating with access to areas needed for storage. Extra essentials (not just 1 roll of toilet paper and other cleaning products) were provided which was very helpful!. Great rate for extended stay, I was there 1 month.

Weekend stay.
We booked here because of the proximity to Court House Square restaurants and shopping. Off street parking in front of the house worked out well. My husband really liked the western decor and the layout was comfortable. We would stay here again.

Prescott in the winter
Great stay in the Studio on Nob Hill. We were able to enjoy some winter weather on our stay this year. Lots of snow! We enjoyed staying in and getting out to all the places we like to visit. Ken's studio is close to the center of town. Just a walk in to town. Another Great week in Prescott!

Great Location, Nice Unit
Really liked how close to Downtown it was. We stayed for over a month and rarely used our car. Unit is small but very functional for 2 people. Host was great, though we only talked/texted a few times because everything was set up and functioned well.
