Maria purchased this Apartment in 2014
Why Maria chose 5th Arrondissement
You will live the experience of being in the oldest part of the city, where the architecture is full of history. We choose this place because of its special "soul" as it belonged to the gothic Bernardins College of the 13th century. The high volume and its old stones magnified in the living room remind us the history of the place.
What makes this Apartment unique
The flat has two bedrooms with two bathrooms. The guests sleeping in the living room (on folding sofa bed ) has access to the downstairs (two steps down from living room level) bathroom without disturbing people sleeping in the downstairs bedroom.
100% refund if cancelled at least 60 days before arrival date.
We enjoyed our stay here! It is in a great location - steps away from Notre Dame, close to metro and RER and a 15 minute walk to rue de Rivoli and Hôtel de Ville. We loved the Batobus. It is a great way to see Paris on La Seine. The Notre Dame stop is only a couple of minutes away. The boulangerie, La Parisienne, on St Germain is on the corner and delicious! The apartment is small but we didn't spend too much time there. It is well equipped but not a great place to hang out. But, Paris keeps one busy! We were a group of 5 - 3 adults and 2 kids. The bedrooms were quiet but sleeping on the futon in the living area was difficult due to the street noise. So, I would recommend this for no more than 4 people. Overall, a good stay!
Quirky place but very nice
This property is just along from Notre Dame. Nice places to eat near by and convenient for getting to see Paris. Hire a scooter, go on the Batobus on the Seine, or simply walk. Great city.
Great location near Notre Dame
Well-located apartment in the 5th arrondissement with bakery and grocery store nearby as well as easy access to transit.
Great little flat for family stays in Paris
We had a great stay here. Tomas greeted us on arrival and showed us around. Maria was very responsive and helpful when we had questions or were looking for good places to eat nearby.
We had six people, and fit comfortably. The sofa/bed in the living room is quite comfortable, and it was great to have two bathrooms. We didn't use the kitchen because of all the amazing food just outside our door!
If you stay here, we recommend taking the BatoBus (a ferry that does a loop along the Seine) to the Eiffel Tower. The stop is right near the flat, and it's a lovely way to see the river and visit the Eiffel Tower without needing to take a cab.
The location of the flat couldn't be better. It's just a few blocks from Notre-Dame and the Seine. Every morning we woke up and had coffee at one of nearby cafes. Then we were off to explore the city. It was the perfect home base for our trip!
Lovely Stay in Perfect Location
This is a charming apartment and Maria could not have been more helpful, arranging for an early check-in and a follow-up calls to make sure everything was ok. The left bank location is perfect for wandering, delicious shopping and easy metro access. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped; the only drawback is there is very little natural light in the bedrooms or windows to look onto the street. Wonderful for a short stay.
Great and affordable place in Paris
Could not ask for better location.
You are on the path to Ile Saint Louis, Notre Dame Cathedral and Panthéon
