Our 3rd stay
Just what we all needed!! So glad we returned. We’re already missing that beautiful view & swimming in the delicious lake. Fab property in a wonderful part of the world with really thoughtful & responsive owner.

Beautiful view
We stayed at the apartment for one week and enjoyed the tranquility and beautiful view. The location is great and it is possible to walk to the lake and back if you’re fit and ambitious (we managed it with our 7 and 6 year olds carrying seats and bags etc plus daily croissant run!). It was also pleasant eating outside the property.
The big compromise however is the upstairs bedroom which, alongside the low height (which we were prepared for but in truth we only went into the bedroom to sleep) is incredibly hot. Unfortunately, the sleeping arrangement due to the heat (there is a fan but it purely circulates the hot air) wasn’t pleasant. There was a heatwave when we were at Tailloires. Thanks
