My family have been coming to the village and Sitges for the past 20 years, to visit my mother-in-law. Although I am Irish we have been living in San Francisco, California since 1990. We originally purchased the flat in 2006 but I just remodeled it in 2016. As an architect I wanted to incorporate more modern aesthetics into the apartment, including free WiFi.
Ursula purchased this Apartment in 2006
Why Ursula chose Sant Pere de Ribes
I love this apartment because it is sunny with a stunning view. It is also very centrally located to many amenities. If I walk 10 minutes in any direction I have a totally different experience: the village public square, the countryside, the swimming pool or public transport hub that offers easy access to Barcelona, Sitges or Villanova. When I come into the apartment the view from the living room always takes my breath away. There is free WiFi throughout the apartment.
What makes this Apartment unique
The living room balcony is a wonderful location to enjoy the sunset.Equally there is a great spacious roof terrace on top of the building which is great for sun bathing and taking in a 360 panoramic view of the village and the countryside. I love the quiet life of the village and when I want more activity Sitges with all its hustle and bustle is very close. The beaches in Sitges are beautiful but the town can get very crowded in summer. Living in Sant Pere de Ribes allows visitors the chance to escape all the madness!

Fabulous apartment in wonderful location!
We had the most wonderful week in Sant Pere de Ribes. Ursula is a fabulous host and very helpful, answering all queries promptly. The apartment is light and bright with beautiful views to the castle. It is well maintained and has a really well stocked kitchen to cook some great food. The local pool, shops and cafes/ restaurants are all within a 5 minute walk. El Secreto is great if you like steak. There is a wonderful bakery and supermarket too just by the main square. Bus travel to the airport, to Barcelona and Sitges is easy, reliable and good value. Our family had a brilliant time and hope to return!
Lovely apartment in a great location to explore the local area.
We stayed at the apartment with our 2 children (10 &13). Great location in a quiet part of the town. Really close to the local swimming pool, it was €10:60 for us to spend the day there. The kids lived the pool and made friends with some local kids. The town square was a short walk away. During the evening it had a busy but relaxed family feel, with lots of locals sat outside the bars whilst the children played football and scooted around.
We also found some great bars and resturants just off the square. Legends burgers were genuinely legendary! Our youngest enjoyed going to the local bakery in the mornings for fresh bread and croissants.
The bus stop for Barcelona and the local towns of Sitges and VillaNova was a 5 min walk. It was really easy to get about the area by bus ( We recommend the T-10, just over €10 for 10 single zone trips and €27:60 for 10 of the '3 zone trips' into Barcelona).
Sitges beach is busy and friendly and the kids made use of the bodyboards from the flat. Lots of local shops and tapas bars to explore. Ursula also left beach towels for us to use and this helped too.
We made 3 day trips into Barcelona and can recommend a visit to the Mont Juic swimming pool (diving pool from 1992 Olympics with a great view of the city).
We will definitely consider returning to the appartment if we come back to the Catalan region of Spain.
A lovely apartment, in a small, quiet, friendly town, close to popular resorts and attractions
Just returned from a very relaxing 11 day stay in this well appointed apartment.
The town of St Pere des Ribes is friendly and excellent for children of all ages, with gatherings in the nearby square every night, for food, drink and conversation.
There are some excellent restaurants close by (our favourite was El Gauchito) and well stocked supermarkets for self catering.
The nearby town of Sitges is a 10 minute drive away and is a much livelier tourist town. If you don't mind a short walk, there is a free car park near the Police station.
The apartment itself was very nicely decorated, clean and well equipped. The only items we found lacking were a baking/roasting tray and salad tongs ; ).
Thank you for a lovely holiday.
Respite from tourism
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was quiet and well-equipped. We could hop on a bus to go to the beach or Barcelona. While here, we were walking distance to groceries and tapas bars. The view from the balcony was great, the beds were comfortable. We appreciated the laundry facilities! The owner and apartment manager were very helpful. If you're looking for a quiet place to stay between excursions, this is perfect.
Spanish life at its best
The apartment is lovely, and the location in town is perfect.
Ursula was thorough in her directions on how to get to the town. You will find everything you need in the apartment. Beds are comfortable and there were plenty of towels.
Guests should be advised that the town of St Pere de Ribes is not a tourist town, which was perfect for our purposes, but not for everyone. We were there to cycle, and we found some good routes. If you are a casual tourist and are in Spain to go to the beach, tour Barcelona or only in the area for a few days, Ribes is not the perfect location for you. Yes, you can take the busses to Sitges and Barcelona, but that is not the same as being in those towns. I highly recommend this town to people who want to feel like they are living like the Catalans (who live a wonderful lifestyle) and want to stay for a week or longer exploring the area.
We did not have a car, which is not necessary for town or to go to Sitges or Barcelona, but would be much appreciated if you want to explore the nearby park and wineries.
We spent 3 weeks in Ursula's apartment and we loved it! Not only because it's clean and modern but also because we discovered the lovely village of Sant Pere de Ribes. It's extremely well connected with buses to Sitges (shopping and beach) but also to the heart of Barcelona and its airport. This village is also self sufficient with many bakeries, restaurants, stores (loved the tappas at 57's!), a beautiful church and historic streets! The apartment has everything one need and has the luxury to be accessible with an elevator (which is pretty rare in this region!). Finally, we had a car and we could park easily every day in the street of the building (free). Overall we had a very good stay and we would come back there anytime!
