Picture postcard Scottish Retreat
A highly recommended property and location to stay if you are wanting peace and tranquility. The hosts were very helpful from start to finish as we experienced some awful weather driving up to the cottage. Overall great stay! Many thanks to Will and Andrea, the hosts.

Entspannter Familienurlaub
Genau richtig für eine kleine Familie. Perfekter Ort für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Tolle Möglichkeit Tiere zu beobachten (Eichhörnchen im Garten und Seeadler am Loch of the Lowes). Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin.

About the host

Host profile image
We are a family of 5. I am a teacher, my husband is a Director at Landrover Experience Scotland and we have 3 grown up children. We have lived in Dunkeld since 1997 and just love living in such a beautiful part of Highland Perthshire.

Why they chose this property

The cottage is next door to us and we completely renovated it by taking it back to the 4 stone walls and starting again. It is now a modern, cosy cottage with all mod cons and wonderful views over the beautiful countryside. My husband was born and lived in this area until he was 18 and it was lovely returning to the area to live as a family in 1997.

What makes this property unique

The scenery and absolute peace and quiet while watching and listening to the wildlife around.
