Bouganvillea is a fabulous apartment overlooking the main beach of Taghazout with views up and down the coast, perfect for wave and dolphin spotting!
Originally a fisherman's house, every effort has been made to retain the traditional Moroccan feeling with tasteful decoration throughout. There are two double bedrooms - one with ensuite bathroom and the other where you can chose to have either a large double bed or two singles. There is a second bathroom/ water-room decorated with the Marrakesh tadlakt, shower, basin and wc. A canape is the sitting-room for one extra guest.
The sitting-room is light and spacious with canapes with woven cushions and local zellige table. The views are fantastic looking down onto the main Taghazout beach and beyond to Agadir.. The kitchen is very well equipped with its own terrace for bbque and tagines. Making the most of the sea views the apartment has
large french windows that either fold or slide back directly onto long balcony.
Tifinaghs Dar is an original Berber fishermen house and has been tastefully renovated in the Moroccan style to give four spacious self-catering apartments. Each one has a spectacular view over the sandy beach with its traditional blue painted fishing boats and beyond down the coast of Africa. Each apartment has been equipped carefully to give you an easy and relaxed self-catering holiday. Each apartment has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen and comfortable salon.
The delight of this village is its old fashioned atmosphere which mixes the true ethnic Africa with hints of Europe and the sixties, its quaint pathways, steps leading down to sea and the numerous restaurants and cafes. There are also shops, post-office, chemist and internet cafes. Regular buses or taxis to Agadir with the airport not far means more holiday time for you. A long-standing welcome to foreigners gives the village a specially cheerful and relaxed feeling. This is a truly romantic location as you sit watching the sun going down fanned by a gentle breeze from the Atlantic Ocean. Taghazout has a whole year round perfect temperate climate with an average of 77°F in winter and 82° in the summer.
Dar Tiffinagh has it's own private front door with each of the four self-catering apartments with their own front door but with adjoining staircase - so if you want to rent the whole lot and have a great time with family and friends then this is ideal.
A reservation is made on a 25% deposit with the full balance to be paid 4 weeks before arrival.
A 50% deposit will be required if the rental is for less than one week.
Towels are for hire at £5 per set of three
Extra linen is £25
Thank you so much for the use of your lovely house for the second year running, we had such a wonderful time, and everything was great! Beautiful weather and beach time, delicious food and lovely people. My sister and her family loved the holiday and the house too. We will probably both be returning again next year!!
The property was very convenient for the beach and beach side cafe's. The views from the balcony were special. We watched surfers, fishing boats and had a ride on a camel on the beach! It was easy to visit Agadir, and the souks, with the taxi service laid on if you wish. We took advantage of this taxi and visited the Atlas mountains for a "tagine" lunch at a Berber homestesd.
We had a super break in Taghazout. The apartment had the fabulous view exactly as shown in the photos and the accommodation met our expectations for a fab traditional Moroccan apartment, lots of beautiful features and the kitchen was well equipped - the must-have tagine of course! Thanks to Rosalind and colleagues and a Happy New Year
Rosalind's place was perfect for us.
The first thing I've got to mention is the incredible hospitality we received. Our experience would not have been the same without Mohammad and Mr. Fantastic. Mohammad runs his rental business, Taghazout Surf Car, in the bottom floor of Rosalind's building. Definitely go through him if you're renting a car, as he is always on hand to answer questions and readily help with anything you need relating to cars or otherwise. He organized an affordable group camel ride for us and knew exactly where to go when we wanted some custom surf towels made. In fact, he just took care of the entire process. We had a few fun evenings and shared meals as he showed us how to cook a tagine. He's a great conversationalist. His family also made an enormous pastilla for our group, which was such a special way to end the trip. Everything was delicious. Also, his son is adorable.
Mr. Fantastic is unforgettable and we all can't wait to return for a dose of his uplifting and positive attitude. His surprise morning greetings complete with mint tea (you'll get used to the sugar) and cookies never failed to start the day off right. He's very connected within the community and went out of his way to make sure we got everything we wanted. We couldn't have imagined a better situation for property management. If we ever needed anything for the house like a new gas tank for the stove or extra cups for tea, Mr. Fantastic would literally appear out of nowhere and make it happen. He's a very special soul. I've tried to explain him to friends back home but you really just need to meet him to understand.
Now, to the lodging! Being able to open all the floor to ceiling windows to the bay (Hash Point) below was a top feature. Perfect view for the sunset and watching the fishing boats leave and return. It was convenient to have a fully stocked kitchen and washing machine as well. The beach chairs were a nice touch, too. Everything was super clean and we wanted for nothing.
Rosalind was always prompt with communication and set us at ease. This is easily the best place to stay when traveling the coast, especially if you're surfing. There is a room downstairs that we were able to use for board storage that was SO clutch. Basically, stay here. In any of the levels. We saw all of them and they are all unique in their own way. And say hi to Tiffy 2, the most beautiful cat ever. Give her a snuggle for us. She's a real lover.
Thank you, Rosalind!
We leave tomorrow morning from a very beautiful holiday in Taghazout. Thank you so much for this lovely place, the amazing view, these ever enthousiastic people, mr. Fantastic, Mohammed, they gave us a very welcome and good feeling. The kids adored mister fantastic and so did we. This is the perfect winter escape, we'd love to come back to this appartment next year.

I lived in the taghazout bay apartments with my family for some months in taghazout. And sincerely recommend it the views are serene, the interior of the apartments are exquisitely done, and the apartments are well taken care of. The apartment is located on charming residential block, feels more private than most locations in taghazout. A must stay!
At just 19 kilometres from Agadir, Taghazout gives you all the tranquility of a small village and the accessibility of the large city with all it has to offer. This beachside house in Taghazout has the advantage of vehicle access with spectacular views and a Southerly aspect. Taghazout has a huge choice of restaurants right on the sea-front. Watch the fishermen bring in their catch and buy it straight off the beach! Treat yourself to a relaxing massage with special Argan oil. You can also learn to wind-surf, surfing, beach-buggy, jet ski, quad. Friday market in Taghazout offers all kinds of artisanal goods and is right on your doorstep. The waterfalls at Immouzer can be found by taking the road through the romantic Paradise Valley with its palm trees and river then up into the mountains where you will also find lots of small stands selling fossils and other hand-made products. We are also happy to organise a trip up to the local mud built village of Mohamed where you can learn about the traditional Berber ways which include the special irrigation systems. Relax and have lunch in the palmery.
There are also many beautiful beaches to explore up and down the coast from Taghazout where you can have delicious fresh fish not to mention a visit to the spectacular Atlas Mountains behind the village.
