Why Marie chose Thompson Square / Bunker Hill
Comfortable and Pleasant apartment with full kitchen. Near the Bunker Hill monument, which is on the historic Freedom Trail.
Please consider the following guidelines when booking this property:
100% refund if cancelled at least 60 days before arrival date. 50% refund if cancelled at least 30 days before arrival date.
We were making several trips to the airport and this home is only a 10 minute drive. You can also see the Bunker Hill Monument at the end of the street which is especially beautiful when lit at night. We enjoyed our stay in this comfy apartment (first floor of a historic home, owner lives upstairs and was helpful). There is also a small patio/garden area in back. We would stay here again. Loved everything about the location.
Great location to explore Boston
Flat very clean and a good size. Great location for walking into town
Comfortable, clean, well-located, quiet. One of the best VRBOs I’ve stayed at. Highest recommendation.
Adorable apartment in perfect location.
This is my second stay here. Cozy, very clean apartment with comfy bed. Th owners are so accommodating. The location her is so easy to get to the train and the water ferry,.
Arthur and Cindy are delightful. They couldn’t have been more hospitable or responsive.
The apartment was very clean, well furnished, and had everything we ever could have needed. The beds are comfortable. Blackout drapes in the bedroom - awesome!
The kitchen is well equipped. We fixed breakfast there most days and a number of dinners as well. Whole Foods is just a few blocks away and the hosts thoughtfully provide a shopping cart for the trip.
The neighborhood is picturesque and historic. We felt very safe walking in Charlestown day and night, and discovered that a number of locals enjoy walking their dogs at Monument Park in the evening. The Old North End is a short walk across a bridge - and, of course, Boston is quite walkable. We even walked to Harvard for a tour. Although it was a long walk, we enjoyed the sights and met some friendly Cambridge locals along the way.
Shout out to Warren Tavern, located a couple of blocks from Arthur and Cindy’s place, for a delicious haddock dinner, very good service, and fabulous historic atmosphere.
Convenient, Clean and Comfortable
We had a wonderful visit in Boston at Cindy's conveniently located apartment. It was comfortable and well equipped with enough in the kitchen for us to cook as much as we wanted to (mainly breakfast). The apartment is very roomy with plenty of room to set up suitcases and organize yourself during your stay. The bed was comfortable and the temperature was too! (We were there during some cold weather!)
The location is great... within walking distance of public transportation, coffee shop , grocery store and dinner out. We highly recommend the Warren Tavern for dinner! We enjoyed seeing the sights in Boston and Cindy was very helpful in giving us tips on what & how to navigate the Hop on Hop Off Trolley , which is a good thing to do when you first arrive.
Cindy & Arthur were very responsive when we needed anything and we could not be more pleased with our choice of this apartment.
We will definitely be back if we are in Boston again.
