Fall in wine country
Totally enjoyed Guiseppe's apartment. The apt was clean and large. Gigi was very helpful at check-in recommending places to see and eat and Verona history. A 20 minute walk to town or bus close by. 30 minutes to my favorite wine region, Valpolicella. Secure parking a plus
Grandfather Gigi’s new cozy house.
Giuseppe’s apartment was the best we have stayed at. It was spacious, very clean and an excellent location. Our host was so gracious, he told us interesting place to go and a lot about the history of Verona. He also had food and water for us when we arrived, which was greatly appreciated. If I return to Verona I will definitely stay here.
Lovely apartment in Verona
Loved our stay. Gracious host. Comfortable. Close to public buses but also close enough to walk into city center. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit in Verona and this apartment.
Lovely, clean and equipped property...wonderful welcome by giuseppe...two minute walk to bus stop or 20 minute pleasant walk to
City center...great for longer stays!
Great guests! We enjoyed having you in our flat, please come back! All the best, Giuseppe
Home from Home in Verona.
Our three week stay in Verona exceeded expectations.
The city is charming, welcoming and a treasure trove of beautiful locations. Transport around the city is very easy, plus rail / bus links to Lake Garda locations or even Venice are fast and frequent.
Our accommodation at Gigi's Cozy Home was excellent. It was perfect in every way. Very clean, neat and tidy. Lovely bedroom, kitchen and lounge areas.
I look forward to a return visit.
Clean, well furnished and provisioned, convenient location.
The beautiful and fascinating city of Verona is 20-30 minutes' walk from this apartment, located in a quiet, tree-lined side street. Or, there are frequent buses to and from the centre- and of course there are two bicycles available.
The apartment itself is larger than average, well fitted-out and comfortable. There's plenty of cutlery, crockery and cooking equipment: and we were most pleased with the supplies of water, croissants, bread, butter, milk, tea, coffee, cheese, ham, jam, etc that were particularly welcome as we arrived on the May Day festivo.
Giuseppe is a fount of knowledge and extremely helpful- nothing was too much trouble and he made sure we had everything we needed and understood how everything worked.
To balance this review I have been trying to think of something negative to add, but I can't. Oh yes- it rained a bit one afternoon.
If like us you haven't been to Verona before (or even if you have), this is a great place to stay.
Dear Maureen and Rodney what a beautiful couple you are and thanks a lot for your nice and fun review. We hope to have you again in Verona soon!!!
