Aynadamar is a 595 m2 villa, with 3 big living rooms all connected to the indoor garden: the winter living room, with a fire-place; the summer living room with large terraces and stunning views to enjoy summer nights and the games room with a billiard table; all together are a perfect place to enjoy with family and friends. The villa has 7 rooms, 4 bathrooms, 1 toilet, a large fully equipped kitchen and a library.

The property was designed by my parents to enjoy with family and friends. As it is quite big, I recommend it for groups from 8 to 17 people.

Is a really nice place to enjoy with group.

At any time of the year, the area has many interesting things to do. In winter, we enjoy the sky resort of Sierra Nevada (at only 50 minutes). In summer, we like to go to the beach. And every moment is a good moment to visit Granada.

The property has amazing views of Granada.

Its location is an strength, because it is a perfect combination between relax and experiences.

Great location, in the hills with a short walk to the village, and yet very close to Granada

Spacious house with a superb pool

There is lots to love about this house including:

- plenty of space

- great view from the terrace with amazing sunsets

- large clean pool

- very well equipped kitchen including a huge paella pan

- lovely welcome hamper on arrival

We cannot thank Rosa and Santiago enough, they were really helpful throughout our stay including meeting us in the village to show us the way to the house - twice.

The location was ideal for us - far enough away from the village so that we didn't have to worry about disturbing the neighbours and yet not too far from the amenities of the village.

Viznar is about 20 minutes walk and during our stay we found 2 bars, both with free tapas, a cash point, grocery shop, a pharmacist and bread shop. There is a more up market restaurant which unfortunately is shut in August.

There are large supermarkets on the outskirts of Granada which is a short drive away.

a fantastic holiday

we stayed in this villa in late may till early june it was a great week there was 12 of us and the villa easily handled this amount of people and more .

it was spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated through out patrica could not be more helpful she really cared that you had a good time rosa one evening cooked a traditional Spanish meal well worth the extra cost please do try it you will not be let down the views are spectacular the pool is very clean and large great for children ours loved it please do go you will not be disappointed

Fantastic villa in a great location

When you look at a property online you always wonder whether the photos are a true reflection of the reality. Well believe me, the photos are spot on. The place is AMAZING. We went with a group of 9 people who all said that it was the best villa rental that they had stayed in. The facilities were excellent and the whole place was spotlessly clean.

All the way through the booking process Patricia answered all our questions about the property. Then on arrival, Patricia's mother met us in the town and showed us how to get to the villa. We were also greeted with the biggest welcome hamper we have ever encountered including local bread, cakes, coffee, milk, fruit, soft drinks, etc. It was also great to have basic cleaning supplies made available such as dish washer tablets, cleaning liquid, etc.

The villa is located on the outskirts of Viznar – a small village to the north of Granada. The views of Granada and the Sierra Nevada are great. It is about 5 minutes to the A92 which makes it very convenient to get to Granada, Malaga and the Sierra Nevada. This does mean that you get some traffic noise outside the villa but it is very minor and can’t be heard indoors. This should be balanced out with the convenience of getting to places such as the Alhambra in about 30 minutes.

Though there was no WIFI available, Patricia did provide us with a USB Movistar dongle which allowed us internet access via a netbook. The pool table was very well used as was the boule area. The swimming pool was very large and would accommodate any large group easily. There was shade available and the loungers were of a very high standard.

Overall, I cannot recommend Patricia or the villa highly enough. With a large group of people I would book this place again without a second thought.

Gorgeous home, breathtaking views & great location

We (2 families consisting of 4 adults and 4 kids) stayed for a week in June at this beautiful home in Viznar, about 20 minutes from Granada city. The house is located atop of a mountain next to a nature preserve and the property and views are gorgeous. I would highly recommend this home for a family vacation in Andalusia, as we were able to enjoy the home as well as day trips to Granada, Seville and a lovely day at the beach in Salobrena, less than an hour away.

The house is spacious, comfortable and Concepcion, the home owner, has provided for every amenity you could ever want or imagine. She even graciously greeted us with baskets of bread, fruit and teas, coffee, jams, etc. as a gift to us for our stay. The kitchen was well-stocked with more than enough of everything to make preparing meals and entertaining there so simple and enjoyable. Every window and patio provided amazing views of the countryside and valley below. The pool was so clean, big and refreshing after a day of touring. Every detail was perfectly attended to by Rosa and Santiago who care for the home.

We asked Patricia, the other home owner, who was so helpful every step of the way as we reserved the property and planned for our trip, to arrange for a chef to make us a special dinner at the villa for our families. She and her mother, Concepcion, arranged for a local chef (from the nearby Restaurant Lorca in the village of Alfacar) to come over, who made a fabulous meal for us at home that was better than any restaurant we ate in and a better value than any other meal we paid for, with plenty of leftovers for lunch the next day. I would highly recommend this added little luxury.

The only slight con is the road up to the house, which is unpaved and requires caution. We managed it well each day, even in our little rental cars, but you have to be slow and alert. Hopefully they will pave it soon.

Also, if possible, we would recommend that the owners install a hot tub, which would have been lovely to enjoy on the cooler evenings!

Otherwise, it was a wonderful trip and we would definitely rent this home again if we ever travel back to Spain. Thank you Concepcion and Patricia!

The property itself is on a hillside with excellent views of the Parque Natural de Sierra Nevada and the Sierra de Huetor, at only 500 m from the village downtown where you can find all necessary services.
