Les Tournesols is one of Cherry Lodge's 4 apartments which sleep in total up to 18. There is a beautiful swimming pool with Roman steps at one end and a large enclosed terrace. There is also a badminton/volleyball net, an enclosed childrens' play area, a mini fotball pitch, a games room and picnic area and ful laundry facilities all set in over an acre of parkland. Situated within walking distance of the centre of La Roche Posay which has bars and restaurants, a casino, golf course, cinema, tennis courts, supermarket, banks etc. This 2 bed apartment has an outdoor eating area which looks out across the grounds to the fields beyond and has an entrance hall, large family bathroom, a kitchenette/living area and 2 large bedrooms sleeping up to 5 people. There are plenty of things to do in the area including kayaking or angling on several of the local rivers, lakes for swimming and water sports, numerous walking routes through the woods and valleys, the wildlife in the Brenne national park, Futuroscope (the second most popular theme park in France), La Haute Touche (the largest safari park in France), the zoo at Beauval with its giant pandas (ranked among the top 15 zoos in the world), the Loire valley chateaux including Loches (where Joan of Arc met with the king of France) and Amboise (the final resting place of Leonardo da Vinci), also the many medieval villages to explore. We even have 2 very special goats' cheeses for you to try with both St Maure de Touraine and Pouligny St Pierre hailing from this region.
