Great stay

We had a great stay at Loretta’s house. House was quiet, extremely clean, and well appointed. Beds were comfortable and Loretta was a lovely host.

Delightful

Our journey began when we turned off of I40. The winding and twisting roads would have been difficult even with GPS. The instructions provided by our host were precise and yet simple to follow. The journey continued with a hardy welcome from our host when we arrived at the apartment. From there the experience only got better. The apartment was very clean, open and a delightful place to stay. The apartment's open concept included the kitchen, dining area and sitting / TV room. The apartment had 3 bedrooms, queen sizes beds in two room, the third room had a daybed and a washer and dryer if needed. The bathroom was clean and fresh, it included an ample supple of the necessities for the average family. The queen size bed was comforable and the pillows were firm to the neck and head. The kitchen was fully furnished with up-to-date appliances. There was enough flatware, dishes, pots & pans to prepare meals with a dishwasher to help with the cleanup. The patio included a large table with 5 easy on the back chairs. Another smaller table with 3 chairs was available. The most important part of the patio was the view of Lake James. The apartment was perched about 200 feet above the lake with a path leading down to the boathouse. I understand that if you are of the adventurer type, many trails, footpaths are close by. Lake James state park, Linville Falls and Grandfather Mountain are within close driving distance. Overall a very enjoyable place to rest and recoup for a few days. Don'

Just what we needed

The view of the lake was better than the pictures. The condo is very spacious and well-decorated. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back. If you are wanting a quiet place to relax and enjoy the back patio this is the place. S. Stephens
