As beautiful and full of character as the pictures
On arrival we were met by Stephen, a very pleasant and helpful gentleman who showed us around the place and explained everything we needed to know.
We were also supplied with a welcome package of essentials and a bottle of wine.
It was dark when we arrived and the villa looked very welcoming with all the lights around the terrace and around the pool lit up.
The house itself was just as the photos depict and was interesting comparing the real thing with what we had seen on the web pages.
It was quirky and extremely roomy for my wife and I.
The pool and terrace area was lovely and sunny for most of the day with lovely views down to the coast over the top of the village. This view is enhanced from the terrace upstairs off the living room.
Being in the centre of the village as this house is, makes it an interesting if noisy place to stay, but It was always peaceful after dark and during the night.
A fascinating place and with two shops right on the door step you can always get essentials at almost any time.
If anyone is looking for a holiday base with character and definitely out of the ordinary, I would highly recommend the Palazzo De Los Arcos as an option.
Highly recommended.
