We have had a fantastic stay in your wonderful apartment, it had everything we needed for a very relaxing and peaceful time. Thank you for your kind hospitality and the local "goodies"---home grown salad& herbs and fresh bread!
We have enjoyed exploring Brittany---especially on bikes and hope to be back one day in the not too distant future.
We recently stayed for two weeks at La Binellerie and we could not be more delighted with the arrangements. We were in the one bedroom, the size of a small house, masterfully restored in an old stone building from the sixteen hundreds. The website does not even come close to describing the restoration and craftsmanship involved with the restoration. From the Welcome basket, the amenities, the grounds along with the physical location so close to all the local attractions of Brittaney, we could not have chosen a better venue.
With Sue and Steve as our hosts, our stay was absolutely marvelous. I could go on and on, however you should make arrangements for yourself and partake of the wonderful experience of at stay with Sue and Steve at the La Binellerie. We wanted to invite, on short notice, a friend to stay with us. Sue and Steve were able to provide a caravan and we were able to add our friend to our stay.
Of course, Brittaney was absolutely wonderful. If this is your destination, you could not find a better base to visit all the attractions.

We were warmly welcomed by our delightful hosts who were very helpful with local information and suggestions. The gite was spacious, spotless, peaceful, beautifully appointed and the craftsmanship superb- we felt very spoiled! We loved it so much we are returning next year.
My husband and I recently stayed at La Binellerie for a week.We stayed in the one bed cottage that had been lovingly restored by Sue and her very talented husband. The house is spacious with quality furnishings and linen. There is a private garden which was perfect for sitting in in the early evening for a glass of wine before dinner.
Susan was extremely helpful providing us with a basket of supplies on arrival ,she printed off tickets and even sorted out a parcel delivery!
The house is positioned in a great spot to explore Dinan,Dinard,Mont St Michell ,St Malo and Caen,we found some very good local restaurants and markets.
I would highly recommend a stay at La Binellerie .
The Binellerie is all that you can see on the photos provided and then some. The furniture, furnishings and garden are exceptional and Susan and Steven the English owners go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcome. It was our first stay there after quite a few years of staying in French owned gites and I could not believe the difference in how much better it is to book with HomeAway and Owners Direct. This gite was a perfect home from home and the garden well maintained with excellent BBQ and garden furniture. The area is also convenient for St Malo and some of the most beautiful French beaches and restaurants are all quite local. To sum up we booked to go next year while we were there.
Had read reviews of the gite so expectations were high and we were not disappointed. A warm welcome extended by Sue and Steve on arrival, and the welcome hamper was much appreciated after a long journey. Sue also provided some very useful suggestions on local restaurants. Was very impressed by the quality of the gite and the size, given it is only a 2 person property. Was also great to have some private outdoor space.
La Binellerie is perfectly located to be only 20 mins from Dinan, Dinanrd, St Malo, Cancale and only about 45 mins from le Mont Saint Michel - all well worth a visit.
Would thoroughly recommend as the place to stay if wishing to visit this part of Brittany.
Everything about this property was as described in the advertisement or better. It has been lovingly developed, is extremely well cared for and supremely comfortable. Sue and Steve were ideal hosts; friendly, available and discrete. St Malo, Dinard, Dinan, Cancale and Dol de Bretagne were fantastic places to visit, After many visits to France we can definitely say that this was the best cottage we have stayed at and it just happens to be in our favorite part of France. We booked for next year on the day of our departure.
La Binellerie is a late 17th century gentilhommiere, near Miniac Morvan, a short drive from the port and old walled town of St Malo, the seaside resort of Dinard, and numerous beautiful beaches along the magnificent Breton coastline. We are within easy reach of the medieval town of Dinan with it's ancient rampart walks and pretty cobbled streets.Dinan also has a river frontage with many delightful restaurants ,and boat trips up the river Rance. One of the most visited places in France ,Le Mont St Michel is about 30 min drive away, and Cancale, famous for it's oysters is about 15 min drive away. There you can sit in the sun on the sea wall and eat a plate of freshly opened oysters with a cold glass of Muscadet. For beach lovers , there are many to choose from both on the coast and along the river Rance and all of these places offer a huge choice of restaurants, whether you are looking for a lively atmosphere in the old town of St Malo or a more peaceful location by the river.
After a days sightseeing you can relax on your patio, or in our gardens, before venturing out again, or maybe a BBQ?There is so much to do and see here in Brittany, you'll be able to try something different every day.
Golf: There are some excellent golf courses nearby with club house facilities at Golf des Ormes and at the Golf St Malo at Le Tronchet. The nearest one being about 20 min drive away.
There are also links courses at Dinard & St Lunaire.
